December 20th, something special going on?

I'm trying to piece together a trip in December and am only missing the night of December 20th. There is availability before and after but not that night. I'm not sure if I should wait list that night and book the rest or just give up and book one of the last two weeks in January. Is there something in particular going on on the 20th?

It is probably a combination of people starting Christmas vacations and the last night before people go home if they want to leave before the even higher Christmas crowds come in.

I would book the rest and WL and scan yourself too.

It will come up sooner or later.

Yes, Christmas and NYE vacations are booked early and hard to nab. But I also find that they have a lot of changes/cancellations as well, I feel even more than other times of the year. Right up until the last minute. I scan, a lot. And have scanned for this time of year multiple times.

As great as the Christmas decorations are, if you have the option of going at the end of Jan., I would completely choose that over any time during Christmas. You'll have much lower crowds.

We were planning on 12/16-12/21 and can't find that Saturday. The week before is even more spotty. I'll keep looking for another day or so and then just book something. I don't want to wait too long and have all the days booked. Thanks!
