We're planning to be in Orlando Dec 16 - Dec 23, 2 nites at Orlando, 5 nites at Disney. For Orlando, we'll stay on site for the early entry and their front of the line passes. For Disney, we'll be at BLT. So, originally I was planning on Universal the nites of Dec 16 and 17, because room rates double after that... but now I'm wondering, with early entry and FOTL passes, am I better off doing Disney on the 17th - 20th with lower crowd ratings, and Universal on the 21st, 22nd with higher crown ratings?

Thanks!!!

Hello! I think either way you are going to be fine. With the prices doubling for BLT, I'm not sure it is worth switching everything around unless budget isn't a big issue. We did universal first for 2 nights last time, followed by Disney for 6 nights. We are following the same plan this April because it worked so well for us. We love universal, but we do like to end our trip with Disney- it might be hard for us to leave to go to universal, even though we really do enjoy it too. We also like being somewhere for 2 nights and then going for 6 nights where we can unpack and settle in. I think for us it would be harder to repack everything up after 6 days. It is a bummer to go from express pass to fast pass, but it was fine! I wouldn't stress- either way you will be good!
