With the passholder rate , this $30. off code is better than the free day code.
Was able to reserve a full size for 10 days for $160. out the door !
If I needed a mini van ...........they were only about $25. more.

Thank you!!! Just booked a minivan from 12/2-12/8 from MCO for $184.99!!!! I had a reservation for $215 and didn't expect to get cheaper than that but wow!

The passholder rates are pretty low. I'm not a passholder anymore though. I'm still holding my rates from August. 10 day rental of a Standard.. $162 with Dollar and $190 with Alamo.

I just want to warn non-Costco members about using that code. I have used the Costco code and I had to show my Costco card. Because of that the code itself is usually not thrown around on threads but simply mentioned. People who are eligible to use the code can find it fairly easily.

I'm a Costco member but just wanted to point out, I wasn't asked for my Costco card. I didn't go to the counter though. I used the kiosk. Maybe that's why? I had brought it just in case but was never asked for it.

Hi guys,

So I have to go to South Carolina for Christmas, so I was thinking of going to Disney for a few days before, and then driving up to SC. I'm looking at rental car prices, and it seems like it's going to cost around $700 to rent a car from MCO and drop it off in Charleston SC, does that sound right? I mean, I know it's Christmas week and everything (12/20-12/28) but that's ridiculous...that's about what flights are going to cost, and I'm supposed to pay that to rent a car? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a compact car.

Do you guys think prices will drop at all, or that I can find any codes? I've tried Costco, which I usually use and I always rent with Alamo, but Alamo doesn't rent out of the airport in Charleston, so I was looking at Budget.

Even if we flew into MCO, rented a car there, drove up to SC, and then back to MCO to fly home and return the car, it's still around $500!!! Ughhhh!!!!

Regarding the costco code - I do not have one - my mom will be traveling with me and she does have a membership - is this OK to use??

I would think so. And if anything, you can always add her as a driver, if she has a drivers license, for free with the Costco rentals. Then there would be no problem using the code.

Thanks! I'm getting $184.87 with taxes but not using pay now. I don't like to pay in advance because I cancel and change my reservations as the rates go down. And I like that you can choose your own car with Alamo and sometimes minivans are in the full size category. Thanks for the codes though. I'll keep checking both companies now.
