December 2013: We just booked!

We rented points for a DVC stay so I don't think we get anything. I can't remember if I got anything when I rented before. It's been a few years.
I still have the "What Will You Celebrate?" luggage tags, and I know we won't get the vouchers.
We won't get our MagicBands until we get there either. We're Canadian so they don't ship them across the border. Apparently everyone has just been getting them when they check in. We are able to customize them though.. so no prison grey bands for us.
I always get a little excited to receive Mickey Mail, but I'll live without it. Only 41 more sleeps to go!!!

The only thing you would get for a DVC reservation is ME tags (if you are using it).

Is it sad that I'm looking for even the tiniest thing to show me we are getting closer to our vacation? 8 days left to customize our magicbands and they should be shipped too!

We booked directly through Disney and got it 35 days before the trip. It is typically 15-30 days before. If you booked through a travel agent that person would get it first and send it to you.

It is the packet you receive if you booked a package and it contains a voucher for the hotel, regular luggage tags if you are not using DME, travel insurance info, and vouchers for things such as mini golf or the arcade.

First set of Magic Bands arrived last night!!! 27 days to go!!

We got our MB on Monday. 25 more days to go until we arrive at Kidani! I am so excited!

Us too. I miss the days of getting the luggage tags and documents when we used to booked a package. However, getting the DME booklet and my official invite to participate in the MB test was pretty sweet! It only took an hour on the phone this morning to get our new APs linked to our reservations. I hope they work the kinks out soon.

Does anyone else have to call and request additional luggage tags since they only send one each?

Hello everyone!

Last minute trip to Orlando for the holidays thanks to the beauty of timeshare! A miracle happened and we were able to book Saratoga Springs from 12/8 - 15! We're new to this resort...stayed at BLT in May and had an AMAZING view of MK. Has anyone been? any suggestions?

Also, totally new to holidays at DW! I live in So-cal and have gone to DL for the holidays for the past 16 years...this year, we've decided to fly south for the winter Cannot wait to see all the magic that is waiting for us!!

Signed up for MB, trying to get FP+ to work but having nothing but problems. Has anyone been lucky enough to score FP for Be Our Guest?

WE GOT MICKEY MAIL!!!

We got three hard luggage tags and a discount coupon book from Disney, but no tags for the Magic Express (I think that is what the bus is called). Should we call them or will they come later with our Magic Bands?

I think I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on my party tickets. Dec 12th it is! Our last full day. Not a bad way to close out a trip! Funny, out of all the posts I've seen, hardly anyone is choosing that day...
