Your tag and envelope are so creative and put me I'd the Christmas mood seeing Mickey all decked out for the holidays, thanks lol..... What program did you use to create those?

Awww. Thanks! It's actually Adobe Illustrator. Thats what I do for a job... I'm a graphic designer. If you like you can PM me your details and I can send you your own file. :)

My parents came home earlier today and gave me two packages they had gift wrapped. One looked like a DVD case, the other looked was an envelope. They started by saying they had gotten my grades from college a few weeks ago, and realized they never gave me a present for finishing paramedic school.

I opened the DVD shaped thing first, and it was a Photopass+ package. I had been debating this for a long, long time, and I was super excited to get it. They said the good thing about Photopass+ was that it would give Abby and me pictures from all the rides and character meals.

Next, they had me open the envelope, which had a brochure for the Disney Deluxe Dining plan. pixiedust:

Mom explained that she and my dad thought the upgraded dining plan would work well with the Photopass+. So her and dad would pay for Photopass+, and the difference in price between the standard dining and the deluxe dining.

After a crazy week (two midterms, an essay that was worth 40% of the final semester grade, and an overload of hours at work), this was exactly the pixie dust I needed!

I just finished reworking ADRs and timing, and I can't wait! Only 145 more days :thumbsup2. PTR is updated with the new plans if anyone is curious.

What awesome parents! My mom would just roll her eyes and tell me I'm spending way too much money. :bitelip:

Hello I have a quick question is Cinderellas castle lit everynight in December or only during the MVMCP, because I was looking at what is included with it and it stated Castle Christmas lights...anyone thanks in advance

Every night. And it is a wonder to behold. :goodvibes

I ordered a nice book from Celebrations to commemorate our rip to Disney. THey say that there aren't many left. I bought mine as a gift for DS. Santa will leave it at our house while we are gone. Here is a link to the page for more info: http://www.celebrationspress.com/allears.htm

I got one a couple months ago. Beautiful pictures and some descriptions of various Christmas events and decorations.

I'm so excited to finally see WDW at Christmas time December 4-12th at the Pop! I'm looking forward to the Candlelight processional (Dec. 10th), MVMCP (Dec. 6th), HS lights, not to mention all the decorations and the giant gingerbread house!! We'll be going to visit my DB who is interning for disney :) It'll be magically lucky visit number 7 to WDW:)

I just booked our very first Disney Vacation ever. Hubby and I and our three granddaughters will be there Dec 10-14th at All Star Music. I am so looking forward to this just like a child!

I'm not really familiar with Celebrations. Is this behind the scenes info or pics or what? Looks like a nice souvenir but $25 seems steep.

Hey guys I was trying to plan my days at the parks and I am really confused. I have a subscription with touring plans and there best day to go conflict with easy wdw. Dis anyone else notice this. Also has anyone gone against advice and gone during a MH day is it that big a difference. Please let me know thanks in advance.

Honestly, I love TP but I never look at their Recommended parks. They have all these rules that may or may not apply to you and your timeframe and the recommendations are designed for the average tourist, not for educated DISers. Instead I follow their crowd numbers. The same thing with EasyWDW; I pay less attention to the recommendation and more to the details of what he writes. So, yes, I go against advice all the time; only you can decide what works best for your situation.

What days are you looking at? What park? Let us know the details and we can certainly help. No worries

I have not looked at any touring plans with regards to which day for which park. We want to get maximum time in each park so I have planned mine around the late extra magic hours and the xmas party. I didn't use any tour plans last trip either and it was fine. I think they are more important if you are going at a '10' time of year.

Welcome! So glad you can come and get excited with us!!

Oh and would us POR guests like to plan a few meet ups? Maybe I can make a spreadsheet on google docs? Those wanting to go to the bar can meet there...those who can't ditch the kiddos then maybe at the campfire?

Well, my schedule is pretty stacked - I'm gonna need a vacation afterwards! But, I will most definitely have a LGMH for the very purpose of hoping to bump into some of you guys :goodvibes

Okay mind you I might come off as crazy lol.

I am arriving on dec 10th my plane is scheduled for 11:35. So after getting the shuttle and getting to the resort, we were gonna hit up mk because it has EMH. Also I wanted to do wishes dessert party.

Dec 11- Epcot with cp still have not decided which restaurant

Dec 12-DHS doing FDP

Dec 13- Ak then might tour the resorts for the decorations and have dinner at ohana, or do MVMCP

Dec 14-Mk earlier then do the resort decoration tour later or do MVMCP this night

Dec 15- airplane departs at 3:35pm I was gonna do whichever park till 1pm

Although I read some where the shuttle leaves 3 hours before the flight.
The only park that I know will be packed is Mk on its EMH day does this sound like a good plan

We're planning a trip Jan. 1-8. We went mid Jan before but never so close to the holiday and I'm a little worried about the crowds. I read somewhere that 1/1 is the 2nd busiest day of the year. Any advice?

You just reminded me - I haven't factored in touring the resorts.

Back to my planning :rolleyes2 :teeth:

Your plan is coming together nicely :) We're doing Via Napoli for the CP, I hear they do great pizza :teeth:

Ok - let's talk touring plans!!

I've picked my park days and made my ADRs accordingly - now it's time to play the parks hardcore! Do you guys all do an actual touring plan? Do you do a schedule? Do you use a set plan from touring plans.com or modify one? Care to share yours? Want me to keep asking questions? :rotfl:
