Good to know about the other airlines. I've flown Jet Blue before but it was before everyone started charging for baggage and before Manchester, NH airport was really "booming" and offering lots of flights. That airport is sooooo convenient, and quick and for the most part never overly crowded. I love flying out of Manchester. We live in Methuen, MA (which seems like most of you will know where that is) so we are smack in the middle between Boston and Manchester.

I want it to be fall already! My birthday, My anniversary, My daughter's bday, & Halloween (my DD is going to be Rapunzel) all in October. Then Thanksgiving, Getting our Xmas Tree, Decorating for Christmas...and then WDW!!!!!!!! Come On FALL!

December's calendar will come out sometime in May. Re: 12/12/12, I doubt it. But it will be fun to be there on the last date in our lifetime that something numerical like that will be possible.

I haven't finished reading through the whole thread yet, but wanted to jump in & introduce myself! We are taking our 4 kiddos right after Christmas (12/26-12/27 at US) & (12/28-1/5 at WDW). It will be our kids first time to DisneyWorld, and our first time at Christmas. They don't know about it yet, but we're going to tell them soon because it's getting more and more difficult to plan without them seeing & talking in code with DH who doesn't know all the acronyms is tiring.
As of now, I have reservations off-site, but am seriously considering spending the extra $$ to stay at Disney. I think with our littles it will be beneficial to be able to go back to the room/pool for some afternoon downtime. I'm super sad about Hoop de Doo because we've never been & I really wanted to, but that will save me $335 that I could put towards on-site accommodations.
Anyway, looking for to getting ideas from those who have been there at Christmas time & making new DISfriends!

Just checking in if any of you guys have settled on dates! You better get to it. After all, you only have 8 months or so!! Sigh, if only it was closer!!

And to those of you coming from New England (I used to live in the Boston area), please do NOT bring the cold weather with you. I am hoping for no cold fronts when I drive 3 hours north and want to enjoy Stormalong Bay at my resort.

I guess that next person would be me. We don't go to Orlando very often; but when we do, we often go to the dark side as well. We'll probably do the dark side the first part of our trip and save WDW for the last part of our trip.

Our travel dates are: December 1-15, 2012.
The dates we will visit the WDW theme parks will be: December 8-14.
We'll be staying offsite for most of the trip, but will stay at CBR from December 11-15. We own a Timeshare and will be utilizing that as well. This will be our first time staying onsite. We got a room only discount PIN for 20% off, so decided to use it; being this is the first PIN we've ever received.

Yes my daughter's 5th birthday is 12-12-12 and we are celebrating it at Disney World! I can't wait.

I also want to do the MVMCP and am not so patiently waiting for the dates and park times to be released.

Oh gosh. My blonde roots are showing. We are arriving on the 7th. Don't change it. We'll be in Orlando all of 5 hours on the 7th (I'm guessing--waiting for SW to release their flight schedules!).

Just booked our flights & hotel for December!! It's been about 7 years since we've been to DisneyWorld & we are so excited! My kids were wheeled around in a double stroller during our last trip & now they are both teenagers!!!

We will fly in on the 13th and just take that day to check in, get our tickets, and relax. Then we'll do one park per day, including a day at Universal for Harry Potter, and fly out on the 19th. Not a super-long trip, but it's all we could do. I had no idea about advance reservations, but just checked out the Ultimate Guide book this week......my head is spinning!

Dh and I are taking dd and ds (3yrs and 1yrs) to wdw staying at POP nov 29-dec6! I am so excited! This is basically dh and my first real trip to wdw.
