**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

So I called WDW Reservations to inquire about what Value Resort the Pop Warner group would be using this year and they could confirm they were using the All Star resorts but didn't know about the overflow Moderate yet (thought I'd ask for the rest of you). I'm sure it will be similar to what they've done in the past.

So as much as I don't mind a bunch of screaming teeny boppers, I am on that I won't NEED to hear them all night long at AoA.

Also, since I got that PIN in the mail for Free Dining or "up to 30%" off and it indicated no AoA guests....I am seriously wondering if I would be better off just switching to POP and getting the free Dining. It's such a savings, that I think it trumps being in a new room. What do you guys think? I know I have plenty of time to change my mind, so I'm just kind of going with the flow here.

It does pose a slight ticket "problem" for us though. My parents just told me yesterday that they were going to buy us Park Hopper Tickets for our 6 year wedding anniversary! I told them that it was way to much but they are insisting that they want to. Now if I change my booking and include the Free Dining Pin, I have to add the ticketing option right then. (I figured with out a Dining Plan we were probably going to spend about $135/day eating at the parks, so that would be obv. a huge savings. So many factors to consider!!!

I get to pack it this time WITHOUT all of the kid gear. I'm not going to know what what to put in it Camera, poncho and sunblock.

I forgot!! I need my park bag (with kid gear) when we go to Disneyland in July. Guess I can't pack it yet after all.

Umm, not to early! I went to Dollar Tree yesterday to get a few "essentials". Ponchos, a hanging door organizer, a pop up hamper, some packing bags that squish your clothes down nice and flat, and of course a bunch of little Disney trinkets for DD. (We are planning to have a surprise basket of goodies every morning instead of picking expensive souvenirs from the park, I'm pre-packing little disney goodies, and keeping my eye out for clearance Disney shirts, stuffed animals, etc!

Got a new ticker. Had to change my dates by one day each way. Now leaving for WDW early am Sunday Dec. 16 and sadly leaving the night of Thursday Dec. 20. Saved about $60 each airline ticket by flying on Sunday instead of Saturday! Now everything is booked except for dining.

Who did you get your flights thru?

The Whitneys (5) will be arriving 12-1. POR. Never been in December cant wait to see the decorations. Hopefully attending MVMCP.

We booked our flights last Sunday as soon as Jetblue's new schedule came out. It was A LOT less then what it had been over the last couple of months so we jumped on it. We paid $998 for 4 out of Hartford CT. Logan is actually a bit closer to us (only by about 15 minutes) and their fares were $60 higher per person.

We feel good about what we paid and it's already gone up $20 per person rt.

I've already purchased several t shirts for my DD's. Walmart has them occasionally and The Disney store had a nice sale so we bought a few there @ $7.50 each.
We also got 25% off of their Princess Dresses! This way we can just bring them to BBB and it has saved us quite a bit I'm sure!
Let's see....we bought Lanyards, autograph books...pens...and started getting supplies for our first aid kit.

I told my DH yesterday that I'd better slow down! I'm not going to have anything to do by summer!!!!

I got Tinkerbell , Cinderella, and Minnie Mouse. I also got one for myself. (sadly, I can fit into a girls XL! ) The one I got for myself says I <3 Mickey ...inly instead of the word Mickey it's his outline. Cute!

Just yesterday we went to a bigger Super Walmart and they had a whole display of Disney Shirts. $8 each...so a good deal!

Yep same display. I was doing the happy dance when I saw the display. I have a list going of what I want to take but I'm holding back on packing yet b/c then what will I do closer to the trip. LOL

Oh no! I'm sorry!! Well...in the grand scheme of things...what's another $20 ? ( I think it's $119 for pre purchase now? We got the package with the photo book)

hhmm well $20 more bucks isn't to bad, I thought it had gone up $50. I want to get new luggage, the lite suitcases to help with weight. Those are pretty nice.

I picked up some Samsonite "light" stuff, don't ask me the model but they are blue before our Feb trip. Gottem on sale at Sears for $229 I think it was for the large ones that expand. I chose 2 large ones for my 3 yo and I figuring we usually take 9,000 stuffed animals with up and bring back another 4,000! Super light with those "all direction" wheels, so light and easy even my 3 yo was able to push em!!! The are soft sided which I didn't really want but I've had soft sided Samsonite before that got trashed by TSA (we are talking they had to TAPE my luggage back together and this was when you couldn't use locks so what their problem was I dunno, maybe it got drug behind the plane but I had NO problem with Samsonite replacing it for free. The heaviest one when we checked in was 38#! Trust me, I'm not one to pack lightly either! And since we were there in Feb we had both cold and warm clothes with us. I can't believe suitcases were EVER so heavy!!!
