**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

Went to disneystore online just want to let everyone know just ended up buying Minnie adult Santa hat its on sale around 11 bucks and all there theme park items are an extra 25% off (extra25) so it was like 8 bucks, plus I bought some souvenirs 25% off so we don't have to buy at the parks and have to add weight to our luggage.

Sweet! I scored those same ears about 5 months ago, plus they (then) had the light up Goofy Santa hats too.

Oh cool, thanks for the heads up. I'm go to go see what they have. We are surprising the kids this year. We aren't going to tell them until the day before we leave. I'm planning to make boxes for each child of stuff for the plane ride and the trip. I have Fab5 xmas wrapping paper so I can wrap them and put them under the tree. I'm super excited. Now I just need to find cool stuff for their boxes... Any suggestions?

But I am so excited I have a job interview tomorrow it's three hours a day and it will be the same school calendar as the kids. If I get the job hopefully they will be understanding about me already needed vacation time.

Good luck on the interview!!! My friend who is an HR manager has told me she wouldn't hesitate to hire someone who had a vacation planned, if they were the right person for the job.

Ok I think I like my plan, so I thought I would post it for all of you to critique. I have come to terms with not having a BOG ADR and am now just waiting for the Dessert Party to open up. Not sure about the Kona ADR. We would have to be up early and it would be OOP.

Sat 12/15-Flight lands at 9:25 am. Find ME. Check in at POP. Eat CS lunch at POP food court. Go to AK. Bus to AKL for dinner at Boma 5:05 or 7:15.

Sun 12/16-Breakfast at Kona at 8:05. MR to MK. CS lunch at BOG. MR to Epcot. Dinner at San Angel Inn at 5:00. Boat or bus to DHS for Fantasmic (if 2nd show offered), Osborne Lights and EMH.

Mon 12/17-Breakfast at POP. Rope Drop at DHS. CS lunch. Break at POP. Dinner WCC at 6:25. Boat to MK for Wishes Dessert Party and EMH

Tues 12/18-Wake up whenever. Get to Epcot when we get there. Dinner at Tutto Italia at 4:00. MR to MK for MVMCP.

Wed 12/19- Breakfast at POP. DHS. CS lunch. Boat to BW area. Dinner at ESPN. Mini golf, explore BW resorts, JellyRolls.

Thurs 12/20-Breakfast at POP. Rope Drop at Epcot. Lunch at Le Cellier at 1:00. Dinner at Mexico or Norway CS. Illuminations.

Sat 12/22-Go home. Flight leaves at 9:35 am.

question: Is the mini-golf you are planning part of the free deal with the MYW tickets? Where is that located? I didn't figure that into our plans yet......**......so much to plan, so much fun to be had!

I bought it last year (after season) at Walmart. But I think I've seen it at Target and CVS, during Xmas time..... So, it should be hitting store shelves sometime next month?

Good luck! with your interview. A few years ago, when DH switched jobs, we had vacation planned too. He told them at the interview and it was no problem.

Mon. Dec 10th: Drive up to Chicago and stay at the Crowne Plaza O'hare as part of our Park/Sleep/Fly package.

Tues. Dec 11th: Wake up at 5AM, take shuttle to airport by 6:30AM, Plane departs @ 9AM, Land at MCO @12:35AM, Pick up rental car and drive to AoA, head to Epcot, have late lunch at Marrakesh @ 3PM (if we don't make it, we don't make it. Will just hit up CS then), Dinner at Teppen Edo @ 7:30PM which hopefully will be finished in time for Illuminations, Head back to AoA after a LONG day

Wed. Dec 12th: RD @ HS, Lunch with Fantasmic package: Hollywood Brown Derby @ 1PM, around 5:00PM grab snack and head for Fantasmic line, watch Fantasmic and then scoot over to see Osbourne Lights, leave park and head to Yacht Club for dinner at Yatchman Steakhouse @ 9PM. After dinner (depending on mood) tour YC, BC, and BW. Maybe stop by Jellyrolls.

Thurs. Dec. 13th: Sleep in until 9AM, have breakfast at Kona Cafe, head to MK to just tour the new Fantasyland, eat a very early dinner at BOG @ 4:15PM, grab our wristbands and party it up at MVMCP!

Fri Dec 14th: Sleep in after a long MVMCP night, head over to Epcot for lunch at Biergarten @ 12:20PM, tour the WS and take in the atomsphere, leave Epcot around 5:30PM and head back to AoA to freshen up before dinner, Dinner at Narcoossee's @ 9PM, hopefully will see the water pageant and wishes while dining, tour the GF to see the gingerbread house

Sat Dec. 15th: Either RD @ AK or Sleep in until lunch at Yak and Yeti @ 12:30PM, stay until park close (6PM), head back to AoA to freshen up for dinner at Jiko @ 9PM

Sun Dec 16th: RD @ MK, late lunch at CRT @ 2:30PM, leave afterward for relaxation (nap ) at AoA until 7PM carriage ride at Fort Wilderness, dinner afterward at Artist Point @ 9PM

Mon Dec 17th : (last full day at WDW ) RD Epcot , lunch at Rose and Corwn @ 12:10PM, leave Epcot around 5PM to freshen up for dinner at O'hanas @ 9PM

Tue Dec. 18th: Get up really early to pack, check out, etc. Breakfast at Boma's @ 7:30AM, leave for airport directly after, plane departs @ 12:48PM

Congrats Valgoof. I knew you could do it. Don't forget to keep going back to take a different path each time. My personal favorite part (aside from seeing my name in the Wishes fireworks) is Rusty Cutlass.

We are close in dates we arrive on 12/15 and depart on 12/23. We are at BLT. We are waiting on the dessert party to open reservations. We did get BOG on our last night there but it took forever on the phone!

I've done two orders already for my 12 Days of Christmas surprise. But DSis's favorite character is Maleficent and there's so much new stuff. Maybe I should do another order for her birthday next week.
