*December 2012 Roll Call* Group TR! A very, merry thread!

As is typical for me, I went into Disney shut down mode after the trip. I did make a photo book of our trip because I had a free coupon that expired at the end of the year. But that's it. I'll post pics of the book.

Things got worse when we decided we can't afford our Oct trip. I'm keeping the room ressies just in case things turn around but right now the trip is off.

On the other hand, I'm heading to Orlando in May to visit my parents and go to Scrapbook Expo. Somehow that turned into 1day at the show plus two at Disney. Funny how that worked out. ;-)

So I'm back in Disney mode and making touring plans. Trying not to get too obsessed. I have too much else going on. But I'll be catching up on the DIS again. Have to make sure I don't miss anything, right?

Hi!!! :waves frantically: I miss my Dec Dis Friends!

I definitely miss this group. I need to subscribe to May so I can stay on top of news but I keep putting it off. I know it just won't be the same. :-(

No, it isn't. I like the November 2013 group I joined, but they're not nearly as fun as you guys ... I miss coming home from work everyday and having 5-10 pages to catch up on ... ;)

Then again we aren't going to be going "all-out" this trip, so there's not nearly as much to plan. DH has vetoed most restaurants, just wants to do CS to save money (though I'm going to Les Chefs once, with our without him!:lmao:) and I'm trying to find one or two "special" things to do so that this trip won't be sad compared last years.

Ok, this link should go to my Shutterfly book. But I've never used their site before so let me know if it doesn't work. I won the free book early last year and could never think of a subject to use it on. But the Disney holidays seemed like a good use.

Hey all!

Sorry, I went into a major Disney shut down after out trip, and then got swamped with school. But, on a brighter side, I might be going back...for five months! I applied to the Disney College Program for the fall semester, and my phone interview went really well. So now it's just a waiting game until I hear back, around 2-3 weeks.

Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well! I'm gonna read through all the posts I missed on the group TR tonight.

Your book is gorgeous! Was shutterfly easy to use? I liked Kodakgallery before they got bought out. I really need to put one together now that I have my Photopass pictures in.

Wow that would be awesome. Hope you get it! :wizard:

I miss you all! And I totally didn't know that when trip reports get moved to the completed page no one can comment on them any more. :( I wouldn't have been in such a hurry to finish mine if I'd known that!

I desperately want to go back with my mom. We had so much fun. But I can't pull her out of school again - it caused big problems for her, so we'd have to go on one of her breaks.

But even crowded, it would be worth it. I think. Debating maybe President's Day week 2014 (17 -22 maybe). Whaddya think? Worth it even though crowded?

I thought it was pretty easy. I'm a scrapbooker but I'd never done a photobook like that before. I did the whole thing in one day because I needed to finish it before the coupon expired. I was a little nervous about the bleed and margins on a couple pages but it came out great. I ended up ordering a second copy for my Mom.

I'm starting to think I'm completely incapable of planning a Disney trip without going all out. This trip in May wasn't even supposed to be a Disney trip. It was supposed to be a trip to Scrapbook Expo with my Mom. (And that only because the Great American Scrapbook Convention cancelled their show here.) Then it turned into 2-days scrapbooking and 1 at Epcot. (Because this AP is burning a hole in my pocket.) Then the convention classes turned out to be unimpressive, so it became 1 day scrapbooking and 2 at Epcot for Flower & Garden. Now it's 1 day scrapbooking, 1 at Epcot for Flower & Garden and 1 at MK. Plus I may have added a "break" at 1900 Park Fare. And, of course, since I've never been to a restaurant that serves the Glass Slipper Dessert before, it would be crazy not to do that... well, you get the idea. :rolleyes1

So now I'm into full touring plan mode for a two-day trip. On the plus side, the only things I'm actually paying for are the convention and the meals. And the stupid luggage fee because I'll have a suitcase full of paint and spray ink that has to be checked. Oh, and the Photopass CD - I might have pre-ordered that too. See, I told you I went overboard. :rotfl2:
