We were there last Year Dec 9th to Dec 20th with Free Dining. I believe the special came out late Summer. We had no plans to go in December as we had been there In May. But with free dining we could not resist. Then I had received a Pin for May so we are flying May 16th for 10 days.

Does someone have the dates for December in the past that free dining has been offered? I am curious what are my chances of the week of Dec 8-15th. I have not booked flights yet so we are somewhat flexible.

no the lady just found one and gave it to me, it was the 30% off excluding AOA and POFQ thru dec 20....thinking it was a lucky break! lol i am still waiting to see if FD will come out

You know, it's funny, my pin suddenly "appeared" as well, while I was on the phone with the agent. Originally, I had one which was valid for only April to August, and instead he came up with the 30% with the same exclusions. Were the only POR rooms available for you located in the Royal rooms?

As of right now planning for Dec. 15-20. Does anyone know what the crowds are like around that time? Its looking like I will have finals until the 14th so probably will not be able to go any earlier in December so I am really hoping that I get some positive feedback about those dates! Its just me and my bf going and he is definitely not a disney fanatic like I am (yet!), he has only been once as a kid, so I'm really hoping that we go at a good time! I've only been in the heat of June-July, so I'm looking forward to some cooler Disney weather also!

Thats our fav times to go,we live in fl and are NOT going during the summer! lol I dont feel its to crowded at all,its not empty but its fine to us.There is nothing like all the lights and christmas stuff everywhere

I decided to "save" our dates on the wdw website and within the hour I was sent an email with a pin #. unfortunately it was only 10% off room . The strange thing was I mentioned to the CM that we were really hoping for free dining in Dec and he said "hold on a minute, I need to check with my supervisor about your pin". but then he came back on and said it was for 10% off room. I will keep on waiting

I can't believe after all the research I did planning our first trip, I missed the Free Dining blackout dates for Pop Warner. I knew the kids would be there when we went, but I was still hoping for Free Dining. I gotta say, I love the Mousesavers site, but there's a giant chart with past Free Dining dates that doesn't show all the blackout dates in the middle of the date range. My fault for not checking further, but I'm pretty bummed that even if they do release Free Dining, I won't be able to use it for my dates. So if we're going Dec 1-11, does that mean there will probably be no discount of any kind for our dates? Room or dining? What if I got an AP? Is there somewhere that lists the dates for past non-FD discounts? I've seen the past FD post.

If it does come out for the same range as past years, excluding the PW dates, I'm thinking of sending my mom (who's going with us) to check in 2 days early since we can't leave until the 1st. Even paying for her to sit alone for 2 days would be a savings still of several hundred dollars. Can she check in for all of us like that?

I have planned our trips in the past, but it was always with e package already laid out. This is the first year that we are going in dec and I am looking around Dec 20-30. I know there will be black-out dates around Christmas week, but I have heard that in the past if you arrive before the black-out dates begin, that they will extend your package through the length of your stay. Can anyone confirm this? I'm also hoping for a dining plan, are they usually offered at the end of Dec? TIA

Is this one of those "subject to change" calendars? Someone over on the Theme Park forum was confused over November's calendar. The TA calendar showed different hours compared to the one that is listed on the DISboard's main page and Disney's web page. I'm leaning towards "yes, it's subject to change".

So she can check in for all of us, even if we are still in CA? Seems odd to pay for a room I can't use for two days, a suite even, assuming they offer free dining on the suites, but sounds like that might be the only option. Thanks.

Hey all! We are going Dec 2 - 8 before our cruise on the Fantasy. I've never been this early in December, will PW affect us in the parks?
I received a pin code for 10% off but does not allow Villas that we want. Is there any possibility they will send another one when this one runs out at the end of May?
Also, anyone know when the list comes out for the Candelight Processional? We really want to do the dinner package and were wondering who would be the celebrity guest.

I could be wrong but I think if you are getting multiple rooms then it can't be just your mother checking in, but im sure someone will correct me if im wrong.this site gives you dates of FD/room rates etc http://www.mousesavers.com/historica...unts.html#rack

I know last year FD had changed dates so when we booked at the beginning we were able to check in on Dec. 3 but then that was changed to Dec. 1 I beleive. Then you couldn't receive FD until Dec. 17. Yes FD will be carried over into your stay if you check in on or before the last day of FD. I do not believe FD will be offered at the end of Dec. as peak season goes until the beginning of Jan. Here is a site that gives you the dates of when FD/room rates came out and which dates they are good for.

I wonder if I could get the free dining for the last three nights(if they offer it) after POP Warner leaves, or is there ANY chance I could get a PIN instead? You can only get free dining if you check in during the covered dates. It is possible to break your stay into a room only reservation for a couple days, followed by a free dining package, but then you have the ticket issue. They have historically allowed you to pick up your tickets u to 3 days ahead on a package, but not 4. So whether your idea will work depends on how the days come down and whether they continue their practice of allowing 3 day early ticket pick-up.

so...let me get this straight-Pop Warner week will be that first week in December for sure? We visited in '10,the 2nd week of Dec. but got a deal at BCV,so we only saw a couple of filled up buses with the kids,no big deal. And how do you know where they're staying? I don't want to stay at that hotel.... Is it French Quarter? or just the other side?
