Sounds good to me. I have not oficially booked yet, but am planning a trip for 12/01-12/08/12. Waiting for a discount that saves me more than the 10% I have been offered so far

I know people have gotten codes for early December but I suspect now that I'm booked, I won't. I can't cancel though because we're booked into a 2BDR at BWV and I'm not taking a chance on losing it. The discount would help a lot but there are no guarantees, and if i'm going to have to pay rack rate, the 2BDR is the best bang for our buck.

You still might. When we went in 2010 we got an offer in the mail the week we were on our trip for free dining (would have been nice to get that before our trip! LOL!). And a few more through the rest of the year. Last year I got a few offers as well, but was not planning a trip for 2011. Hoping I get something good this year because we can fit a trip in our budget this year.

Hi all, thinking about a trip between xmas and New year. I was certain they never offered discounts for this week but when I checked mousesavers historic info I see that in Dec. 2010 they did. Think that was just because of the economy?? I was also looking for historical flight prices. I have a few prices now but the "good" prices are all at crappy times of the day. Was hoping to find what Jet blue was charging last year for the same time period. Not sure if I should book now and deal w/ it or wait until they release dec. prices...... Decisions, decisions.

We are booked Nov 30th to Dec 6 at the WL with Deluxe Dinning....my hubby judges the success of a vacation by the food and he loves the signature dining at WDW so the DlxDP is perfect for us. Hoping for free dining so we get a bit off the price!

Whoohoo - the WL is awesome at Christmas time. We went for our honeymoon in 2003 and we loved it!!

The wife and our soon-to-be 12 year old granddaughter are putting together a WDW trip during the week of December 16th, so I'm subscribing to this thread. With high hopes, I might add.

We just booked trip # 2 for this year. We will be at All Star Movies December 26 - January 5th. So we can watch our DD17 dance in the Orange Bowl halftime show for the 2nd year in a row. So excited! Now to go add to my signature. We know there is unlikely to be any discounts but we can still hope.

Going week one December...though can flex to week two if better discount offered. Staying at Poly. We went week two LY stayed at GF (we didn't care for it, which makes me feel bad as the upgraded us from basic room to a view of castle). We had the room discount as it saved as more money than free dining...but I recall the room discount didn't become available until early October (whereas dining was available early August).

A long time to sit on pins and needles.

Are room bounce backs hit or miss? We have been three times..(Pofl, WL, GF) and no bounce backs or pins. Pooh.

Thanks so much! They danced this year for the first time at the Orange Bowl & got picked to be front & center. It was so exciting! A lot of work but so exciting!

booked our Xmas trip for the 22-27.....really hoping to get in on some free dining....I know they offered it back in 2009 when we were there, so here's hoping they will do it again! if not, maybe they will still spit out the coupons for discounts on the quick service(every bit helps-lets us spend more on other non needed things) counting the days and saving the pennies!
