December 2012 Code Watch

We went December 2-10th this year and usually like to do 2 years between trips, but had such a fabulous time there this year, I have hubby convinced that we can do it this year again, Nov 30th through the 8th. We haven't booked yet, but I will be soon.

We stayed at POR and loved it, I am thinking either POR or CSR (something new) or a value (Pop?)...Any input would be great

They change it up from year to year, but typically stay at the All-Star resorts and a moderate. The Pop Century is not typically involved from what I have heard.

I forgot about them (I shouldn't, I've been there twice during Pop Warner week ) .....

Does anyone know a lot about CSR? We loved POR and would need a good reason to branch out, but want to try new places

I have a trip booked at Pop for Dec 1st thru the 6th. It is a girls only trip with my SIL. Keeping my fingers crossed for a PIN code or free dining.

We are currently booked for Dec. 8th - 15th at Contemporary. Would love to get any kind of discount (room, dining, I don't care) to help out with the total cost of the vacation. But, if nothing comes out, we'll still be there to celebrate the Christmas season with Mickey!

Past few years the free dining hasn't come out for December until sometime in August. Sure hope for something sooner this year!

Last year it didn't come out until the very end of August.

I'm not holding my breath for anything sooner. With the Fantasyland expansion opening late in the year they will want to see if that will fill rooms at full price first.

Keep in mind that room only codes will only apply for the portion of your trip that actually falls within the promotion timeframe. It's not like free dining where you just have to check in during the timeframe. So if there is a room only discount, you might find it applies to the first few nights, but be blacked out for the rest.

Last year the discounts came out on August 3rd. I remember because I booked that morning and had been waiting for it a week Hoping for earlier this year for ADRs!

We are also hoping for a discount but don't think there will be any because of our dates. We will be there after our 1st Disney Cruise Dec 23-26. Oh well I'll still hope for a code and if not I'll still be there.....Can't wait!!

Thought I would check in too. Just got a pin code for 30% room only for Dec 1-20. Bummer since we will be there the 27th-31st after our 10 day cruise.

Anyone have any luck getting discounts on their pin for other dates? Even if it isn't the whole 30% we would like to stay on property. Our kids haven't stayed on site before and we would like them to have that experience.
