No not at all. At the bottom they say more narrators will be added. The official DisneyParks.com website just didn't list the "to be announced narrators" with dates from December 2nd through 10th and December 17th-19th and December 26th-28th.

And "regular" dining reservations that were being held back for the four popular Epcot restaurants, called Le Cellier Steakhouse, Coral Reef, The Garden Grill and Rose and Crown Pub and Dining opened up last week on June 20th, 2012.

A lot of guests that wanted to make their 180 advance "regular" Dining Reservations couldn't make them until June 20th.

I wanted to make my 180 day reservations for my arrival on December 4th, 2012, but I had to wait 19 days until June 20th to make those reservation

We won't be ready to make our ADR's until probably August. As it is, we haven't even sat down with my mom and brother to figure out what parks to visit on what days. That probably won't happen until August as well.

What I'm afraid of is R&C being unavailable for regular ADR's during our trip or being sold out due to CP.

This is my 1st year using a pin (30% that Im using for my August trip) I started looking into my first time EVER Christmas surprise trip.

Heres my questions:
Im looking at the dates 12/24-27 staying at AoA. Can you use the pin at this resort or is it still resrticted because its new? Can I use my AAA discount here or is it restricted? Do they usually have pins for this week of the Christmas holiday?

Congrats on the August PIN As to your question about whether Disney has PINs that cover the dates of Dec 24-27, usually no. For the past several years Disney has blacked out room discounts of all types starting on the 24th through the end of the month. There was a free dining PIN out there that would give you free dining during the holidays but that had a required check in of 12/20 and it expired very early this year. Sorry! The thing with Disney is you never know, but just plan on paying rack rate during your stay and pixie dust your way

Finally gave up hope of getting a pin code for our reservations at BWV for Dec 2nd - 8th and went ahead and booked through CAA (Canadian equivalent to AAA) and got 20% off our room rate. Better than nothing! Not holding my breath for free dining either.
So now I can officially say YEAH coming to WDW in December!

I will probably have to change another ressie when Be Our Guest starts taking reservations. And I'm still waiting to see if free dining comes about so we can decide what upgrade to do. I hate the wait game, wondering if you'll be able to get what you want.

I'm still hoping for a general public offer next month. Last year it came out the beginning of August and I'm hoping for the same discount this time around.

The waiting game is hard and it's even harder to remain patient when you feel like a kid in a candy store lol.

We're planning on being there Dec. 13 to 18. It will be me, DH, our DFriend, Mark, and DS, 2.

Hoping for free dining, and already got my ADRs booked in case that happens. For us, whether there is a free dining offer to the general public (or if we were to happen to get a PIN) is the deciding factor in whether we will stay at POFQ and keep all our ADRs or whether we will cancel most of our ADRs and stay off-site.

Cybrkitn, did you see the post by Danny stating they are gonna announce free dining on July 12th? It's for the same dates that's been on the pin codes. It excludes AOA's LM rooms, but It sounds like good news to me.

Now I just have to wait for August 4th to see if I can make reservations for Be Our Guest for the visit in December, and I'll be set. Except for that small detail of paying for it all

That's pretty early for FD to be announced. Last year it wasn't until August 3rd or 4th. I currently have a room discount pin code that, IIRC, expires on the 14th. Hmmm

Waiting for the GP offer for FD is killing me!

If your talking about the 2nd-8th..no that's Pop Warner Week and usually gets skipped over

Really? Like...no discounts at all that week? Ever?

That's a total bummer. I have no idea what this Pop Warner thing is, but that just happened to be the week we could go to Disney this year (Dec 1-8th). I'm very disheartened to find that there is no chance of discounts the ONE week we could go.

At least this explains the strange blackout for that particular week in all the discounts I've seen. Thanks for the info.

Found it right after I edited my post the first time. I'm super excited right now and am so happy that we don't have to wait until August to find out! I can't wait till I can call our TA to have the FD applied to our packages!

Pop Warner is a football league for kids along with cheerleading. Their finals (aka their version of the Superbowl along with cheerleading finals, IIRC) are always during the first week of December.

To get any type of discount, you would need to check in before the black out dates.

Right now I am booked Dec. 8-16, but going to drop the 8th & 9th to get Free Dining (when it comes out). Should I go ahead and change my dates now, so when it comes out I can just call and have it applied...would it make it easier to have that already done?

Our dates are Dec 1-6 and I was able to save $61 with AAA discount on our room only reservation. Just wanted to share if we do get shut out of discounts because of Pop Warner.
