I got that same email PIN a few days ago as well. We were going to do 12-10 to 12-17 but had to change to 12-11 to 12-18 since 12-10 was black out date. There was a link in my email to do it online. I clicked on it & had to enter some nfo, but then I could price out my trip & everything w/the lower rates. I did, however, just call to book.

Just fyi...I just called and asked if I had a code attached to my name, i didn't but told him about the one ya'll got and he let me have it!!! 35% on POR for Dec. 15 - 22!!! He gave me prices for Pop, CBR and WL. He also told me that SSR Villas were totally booked for the Christmas to New Year's week.

We are traveling December 18-24. We got the PIN for the room discount. However, we love the dining plan but can't decide whether to wait to see if they offer a free dining plan or go ahead and take the room discount. HELP!!!!

I too would prefer fd...but...since I got the pin I thought I might as well book..put down a deposit and wait. Rooms are going quick with the current pins. Last week I booked for my dd and her fiance. Standard rooms at POR were not available and only King or water view were. Tonight, I added a night and by doing so, I had to lose the water view as it was no longer available for that one extra day. All they had left was King. This is for May..so not anytime super soon.

Anyway, I do plan to make changes to my reservation should fd come up..but at least I am booked. I was actually surprised at how much the pin did save. fd would save me only a bit more...so I am ok if it doesn't come out..but...if it does I will be right on the phone waiting on hold to change. (I was on hold tonight 40 minutes!)

I was also hoping for free dining. We always book with AAA and get a small room discount and add on the free dining. We have only stayed at budget resorts though and this time I would like to stay at a Mod or Deluxe. I am curious if I would be better to take this Pin offer instead? 2 adults, 12 yr old & 9 yr old.

I just booked the 35% off PIN for Pop Centur in a pref room from 12/11-12/18 and it saved $312. I am also hoping for FD since that would be a much better deal at about an $800 savings.

I called today to see if my mom had a pin attached to her name. Well, I guess she did or I just had major pixie dust cause I am booked at the Poly Garden View for 6 nights from 11/28-12/4 at 40% off!!! That is amazing! I am so happy!

I think people are getting discounts because they call and find that they have a pin attached to their household.

For me, this week I booked twice. The first time I called not having received and email. I was able to book 35% off POR for my dd's disneymoon because there was a pin attached to my household. I could not however book our December trip with that because those dates were not included. Then I received an email with a different pin (basically the same offer only different dates) This one then included my December dates and I was able to book with 40% off WL.

It doesn't hurt to call... and the pin that came in my email was included in a "check out your resort pick" email. In that, it detailed the resort I picked along with dates I picked for a "what if" trip that I had not booked yet...only had set up an itinerary for.

good luck.. oh and one more thing...if you do get an email. Try and book through that online.(there was a link to use your pin) I waited on hold for 40 minutes when I could have in a matter of minutes checked online for availability and pricing with the pin.

i called a couple of days ago and asked them to check for a pin under my name. the cm checked my name and address along with my husband's name, but he said there was no pin attached for us.

i reordered a vacation dvd under my mom's email address (she already had an account for the disney website and is going on my january trip with me) and then i called her to let her know to look out for any emails from disney destinations. she said "oh, i get those all the time, I just delete them!" so i called disney today and said to the cm that i was calling for my mother who thinks she got a pin code in her email but deleted it instead of forwarding it to me, so can they please check if she has a pin under her name. the cm took my mom's info and then asked me when i was planning on going to disney, was it my first trip, what was i celebrating, etc. when i explained that i am going in 2 weeks for my first trip since 1989 and it is my son's first trip (he is 4) and we want to go in dec for his 5th birthday, she quoted me a price of $1864 for 6 nights at the poly! i said "is this with a discount" and she said "yes, it's a great deal". so i don't know for sure if my mom had a pin (she never said outright that she did or did not have one) or if she was just an awesome cm who helped make my dreams come true! well either way, she was awesome

I've just about given up hope on getting a pin, we've never ever received one nor has any of our family members and we've been to disney and stayed at their resorts multiple times yes I'm whining lol I have made new accounts, signed up for their dvd's and newsletters, saved quotes on the site and still nothing.

I would have to make 2 reservations to use a pin anyways because most of our trip takes place during blackouts but it would save us $200 and that's better than nothing. ugh! Guess we can try to call and see if we have any pins on our names but I doubt it.

I got the discount TOO! Just booked for December and I told the CM that all of my friends were getting a discount. I gave him the dates and the discount amounts and when he looked up the resort I wanted they had the discount! I'm booked and joining in on the planning!!!!!

We're planning 12/2-12/12/11 and will be going through a travel agency this time around. We'd do it ourselves, but we're part of a bowling vacation league that is run by a travel agency. They will be the ones booking our vacation once the league is done.

I think most of those dates are blocked because of pop warner

Most of our week is blocked. However, the first 2 and the last 2 days of our vacation aren't. I got the 40% discount pin email a few days ago. Unfortunately, we would have to book by 2/28 and we can't book until at least June when our bowling league is done.
