mid-December at the Motel 6 Main Gate

I spent an unplanned night at the Motel 6 Main Gate last December and was pleasantly surprised by the clean modern Euro/Brazilian look of the new furnishings in the recently remodeled room. My only mild criticism was that the cool looking wall-mounted (with back lighting) late model (42"?) LED HD television was connected to an analog cable service. I rarely look at any television when on vacation and was just curious about the setup.

We'll be there Dec. 27-Jan. 1 for our annual New Year's trip! Split stay between Doubletree (12/27-29) and VGC (12/29-1/1).

Me, my 11 year old niece, my cousin and her 16 year old daughter will be there from December 2-4, celebrating my 42nd birthday a tiny bit early (it
s the 8th)!

Christmas time is my favorite time to visit, can't wait!

We're staying at the DLH - we've requested the same suite we had last time, but not sure if it'll be available, as it's in the Wonder tower, which is being refurbed at the moment.

Looks like at least 2 of us will be visiting DLR 12-17 December. Mindy71 and fellow DISers visiting DL are invited to meet up for early lunch (about 11:30 a.m.) at the Blue Bayou, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Will make reservations for 2 (or more if there is interest) come October.
