I was able to use the 40% off for 12/19 to 12/26 at the Fort Wilderness Cabins for 3 adults and 1 15 yr old. I added park hoppers and regular dining plan for a total of $4369.69.

How do you get a pin code? I have never received one.
I am staying at the Family Suites in the All Star as part of a Grand Gathering. Having a pin code would be great!

The code was actually sent to my address with my friends name on it. We took our families three years ago. I called and asked if I could use it and the CM said YES . It is saving me a little over $1000. My advice is if you get a code not addressed to you at your address call back until they let you use it!

Order the WDW Vacation video...sometimes that helps to let Disney know you are interested.

Thanks! I'll keep my fingers crossed then. I have ordered the planning video every year (my autistic son collects them) and have even ordered the book/video on DVC.

Maybe luck will be on my side. No matter if I don't get one - we are still going.

Hi all! MH and I are thinking of going in Dec, we would want to be there for his 30th (12/12). We can't book yet as we need to see if we'll have the money to splurge.

I'm going to order the dvd in hopes of getting a code. We ordered one for our trip in May, has it been enough time to get a new one and hopefully get on a code list?

DH came downstairs a few hours ago and said "honey before I delete this email from Disney is it something worth looking at?" He was about to delete a 40% off pin code and had no idea what it was. They only reason he asked me before he did it was because I had said how much fun it would be to go during December next year and he noticed it covered some dates in Dec. MEN!!!!!

So after a while on hold with CRO we are in for a trip to the world from Dec 13th through the 20th staying at the BC!!! I am going to try to keep it a secret from the kiddos but I am so excited I could scream. 2008 was the first year in quite a while we didn't go to Disney and I need my fix bad.

Add me to the list of those looking/hoping for a good code or discount! We'll be going in mid-December and my parents are hoping to stay part of the time at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the other half at either the Poly or the Grand Floridian. How early does everyone recommend making reservations at these places? My parents are pretty lax about vacation planning, and have left everything up to me.

I got the 40% off code and booked December 4-6. I got POR for $89 a night before taxes.

Why haven't I found this thread sooner?!?!? We're booked Dec. 14-21 at POR for this December. We had already just come to grips with the fact that we are gonna be paying WAY more than what we paid last time we went but it was certainly ok with us. But 40% sure wouldn't hurt!!!!

Those of you that have received the e-mails containing the 40% off offer, what was in the sender and subject lines? Was it part of a Disney Insider or something completely different? I just want to make sure and not look over it if by some greatness of God I happen to get one.

Secondly, can someone explain this whole Pop Warner thing to me? What is it? I keep hearing yall talk about it and I'm confused...

Pop Warner is a football/cheerleader tournament that doesn't effect the parks a lot. It shouldn't affect you at all, as it ends on the 13th this year. (We are possibly heading there the same week.)

DH Booked Dec 5-8 at WL with the AAA Discount. Right now, no dining, but we may add that later if we get any codes. I'm now thinking maybe we should switch to the week before though, since that is Parade Taping weekend and Pop Warner starts on the 6th. I was just thrilled cause he booked something as a Christmas gift. I didn't think we'd get back to WDW tioll 2010.

Ours came from Disney Destinations as the sender and the title was Book now and get 40% off your stay. The 40% was for values, the percentage you actually save goes down as you go up in level of hotels. The rate they quoted us for WL was about 34% off rack rate.
