Hi everyone! I am new here. My FI and I are getting married Dec 5 2008 at SeaBreeze Point and having our dinner at Vicotoria and Alberts after for our small wedding. We are curious and wanted feedback to what upgrades for the Escape Wedding are worth it and which are a waste of money. In particular, we are looking at the Disney photography upgrade in front of the castle and carousel.

We also really want formal Mickey and Minnie to show up too. What a great photo op for our album. Have you guys done that? Was it worth the money to you all? Iknow this is all opinion based but I am curious to the feedback.

Thanks so much!!

I was also looking into the same things... I would LOVE the Disney photography in MK, but I don't like the fact that you have to have the pics done so early in the morning... especially in December because it will still be dark out. But if that doesn't bother you, that I think it would be absolutely worth it!!

I would also love to have Micky & Minnie, but my DF doesn't like that idea... AT ALL! haha! I'm lucky he agreed to get married at Disney to begin with... (He's never been there, so he doesn't understand).

Hi,
We're also planning to take the MK shoot... besides the unique photo op, being there at the crack of down, without people etc is really appealing for us.

regarding Mickey & friends, we're leaning to just go to Chef Mickey's in wedding attire and hva photos taken there. Of course not formal Mickey, but Mickey nontheless :thumbsup2

Totally did the MK shoot. DH wasn't sure in the beginning, but I really wanted it, so he went ahead with it. Now he is so glad we did. Once in a lifetime experience. My 16 x 20 is at the framers now. Can't wait to get it on the wall !!

I would have liked the carriage and characters as well, but decided against those. I just couldn't justify those expenses. We did go to a dance party the night of the wedding and were able to get a picture with Mickey and Minnie with our bride and groom ears on and love it. So that worked out okay. The carriage I still miss...but again, couldn't justify the cost. Maybe when my DD gets married....

I was told that we couldn't upgrade to a MK shoot, unless it was in the park in casual clothes?

Oh, yes- you are right! You can't "upgrade" or trade the photography that comes with an Escape package for an MK shoot, just for a Honeymoon Shoot.

But if you want to pay for the MK shoot, the way you would pay to have Cinderella's carriage or characters, then you are virtually "upgrading" your experience yourself! :thumbsup2

i dont think you can upgrade it, its just the straight $1000 for it whether you are escape or wishes bride for the mk shoot
