I have a quick question:

I have already booked an 8 night stay at POP with deluxe dining--we only bought a one day park ticket, since we have tickets left over from last year. I went through AAA and saved the 15 percent (I think that was the amount).

Is it even worth it for me to call my TA and ask her to look for a code that will work for me? I just looked at one of the links someone posted--and the rates are for 2 adults w/ child (ren). There will only be myself and my dd.

Online you can get this for $2193.48 at the ASSports. If this is less than you are paying now I would check into it!

I booked it for around 1450.00. Does your price include more park tickets than we need? I only need a one day park ticket.

Going Dec. 6 - 14. Right now we're paying rack rate. We've never payed rack rate. I'm just wondering if it's too late to get AAA? And what about our ADR's that we already have? Are they tied to our reservation number at all? Meaning if we cancel our package will it can our ADR's too? Also, we are at POFQ. What's the likelyhood that AAA will have anything for POFQ? Would love deluxe but don't think I want to pay that much. What do you think?

We are in the same boat. I have never paid rack rate either. I also thought I'd do AAA. The TA from AAA tried to call WDW and they also have no availability! So we are stuck paying rack rate ; I am glad we changed to value in June though; I would really be mad if I was paying rack rate for Deluxe! If I had a choice I would change dates but I don't so were going!

Same here with the rack rate and the first week in december is suppose to be slow.... I have been trying to get an upgrade to MK view at the CR and even those are all sold out.

i actually cancelled my ressie with Triple A, i might have gotten a bad crayon but the TA i had wasn't has helpful as i would like...
i booked through a disney TA.......my question is, does anyone know if anymore codes MIGHT come out for my december trip?
i already got a good price using one code but does anyone know if more will come out from now till my dec. trip or is that if for dec?

Well, I called my TA this morning and she said if I switched to All Star Sports, I would save 50.00. At first she told me that I couldn't use the AAA discount AND the code--but I ended up being able to.

So, I switched. Not crazy about All Star Sports (what is the acronym for that? B/C it looks bad when I tried to do it--LOL!), but hey--50.00 is 50.00. Couldn't pass that up!

I don't know what your TA is telling you, but you can't use both the AAA discount and the code, she is confused. You better double check on that because you could end up in a boatload of trouble/owing more than you expected or without a room.

You just never know with Disney. You do know you can't use more than one code/discount and what has come out is probably as good as it gets.

Call yout travel agent. I have called mine twice with different codes and have saved about $500. total

No, that doesn't mean she used both, she was just meaning that the Disney Code was better than the AAA discount. I saved about $345 more than if I had used the AAA code, but my savings total was $542.22. The AAA rate only gave me a $197 savings, but the Disney code brought my total down by $542.22=$345 difference. Well, I actually saved another $304 vbecause I didn't have to buy the extra tickets to do my package, since I am an AP holder.

I just don't think she explained it correctly, you didn't get but one code discount.

OMG I am so excited I can barley breathe let alone type! I called last week to request a special needs room. Later when I tried to use the infamous code the CM said we were in building 7; I looked at the map on this thread and saw it was way far away from Classic Hall. So tonight it was quiet in my house, ( a rare occasion) so I called special needs and asked them for a closer room. After I explained there was no preferred rooms @ the POP DEC 6- 14 ( because the whole resort is sold out) the lovely CM said their was availability for a preferred room! Well I figured go for gold and asked to apply the code and IT WORKED!!!! I previously had a $120 balance because I upgrade our tickets to water park and more. Now WDW owes ME $ 52. after the preferred room up grade.!!! How or why this time there was availability I do not know. I have called twice a day, and looked online and there was never any availability!!! DO NOT GIVE HOPE!!! I know the code didn't save us a ton but we got preferred room and water park and tickets ( plus a little extra pocket change for the price of our original package!!! The CM was the most wonderful person!! This has really made my night!! Thank you to all the your disers who told me to keep trying!!!

We are also paying rack rate for AKL nights. We have never paid rack rate for the last 11 years. Oh well, our room is paid and we have our AP's we bought last January. We are very happy to be able to go to Disney.

Congrats Heartsy77! I am going from Dec 6-12 @ Movies in Preferred. But I am curious, what code did you use? I tried the one listed on Disney and they won't let me for those dates. WHich infamous code are you referring to?

I used DGL because we have no dining plan. I beleive my code was blackouted for our dates as well; someone said last week it didn't matter.
