I would call back. When I called this morning, the CM I spoke to did not even know that the codes were released. I gave her the code and she looked it up and was shocked that I knew before she did, I told her it was thanks to DIS! :rotfl: Sometimes we know more than they do!!!

I finally got some answers after the 5th time I called Disney. So far, I have found out that there are 2 sets of codes. One set is for those who booked over the phone. These are the General Public codes from mousesavers.com.

The other set is for those who booked online. I don't see these codes anywhere on any websites, but thanks to a diser, I found out the code for online bookings is MMP (for deluxe dp. I don't know the other online codes for other packages).

Anyway, they can't cancel and rebook already existing reservations. There are a specific number of rooms available for this discount promotion in each of the hotels and so far, every room for the promotion in value, and moderate are completely booked.

As far as blackout dates, I believe its a mistake. Of the 5 times I called to try to get a discount, the codes were valid and good from Sept. 28th to December 23rd. None of the CM's mentioned anything about not being able to book because of black out dates. My week would have been accepted for discounts (December 6 to 14th) if any rooms were available.

I even double checked and asked if the code I gave was correct and valid for my dates and the CM's told me yes. I only have to keep trying to call to see if a room becomes available.

So, if any of you didn't get a discount, keep trying even if trip falls in the black out dates.

I guess it's worth another try, right? Thanks for the info....when I called this a.m they said there were no resorts available to get the discount through, she kept checking. I hate to keep calling but if it saves me some moolah it's worth it to keep bothering them, right?!!:goodvibes

Are the codes for booking over the phone DGP and QXD? I'm sorry...i'm so new to this but would love to use your expertise and save some money!! Thank you!!

Took your advice and called again, no POP but COR was available for $600 more!:scared1: Needles to say I will keep calling!

Can someone with an AP buy this package and then use a 1 day ticket with the package later (like to upgrade to another AP or some other ticket? Or do the tickets purchased with this package have to be used for this trip only?

These are the codes for phone bookings from mousesavers:

code DGL for a regular Magic Your Way package, QXD for a package with Dining Plan, DGM for a package with Dining Plan + Wine, UVL for a package with Deluxe Dining, or GGM for a package with Deluxe Dining + Wine.

Just got my TA's email. She's aware of the fall rate and will keep calling the CRO to update my rate. Since we will only spend 6 nights @ Disney this time, our saving is only a hundred or so... What should I buy with that money now???

The savings at a value is probably only $15 per night (remember that the mods and deluxes cost 1.5 times to 3 times more than the values so you must compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges :goodvibes )

The big discounts that are being reported are for the values and mods not the deluxes.

Has anyone been able to use the codes at POFQ between Dec 6th-13th?

I could not get the AP rate for my ressie from 12-1 to 12-11. There was NO availibility of rooms, period. I changed to 12-12 to 12-22 and saved about 450.00. I was amazed that the first 2 weeks of Dec are more booked than the week before Christmas. Pop Warner probably has a block of rooms at POFQ for the second week of Dec. There may be some rooms open up later on, depending on what Pop Warner does.

Yes you can:flower3:

I was able to change my AAA rate to an Ap rate for our trip. I phoned are TA this morning to see if she could apply the GP code to the other three rooms in our grand gathering. TA sais they were really busy at Disney and were sold out for our dates:confused3. I knew I should have booked it myself.

Just called [yes, I'm hardcore disney...home from the hospital 5 mins and on the phone to try for a discount!:thumbsup2 ]v CM said that GF was booked solid for any ressies at all from the 2d of Dec to the 9th. Nothing available at Poly or Contemp for those dates using DGL. Now I'm thinking I should have asked about AP rate....ugh! Is it worth trying? I'm already booked garden view at Poly using AAA for $289/n plus tax. Anyone getting AP rates that are better?

FINALLY was able to apply the AP discount code from yesterday to my existing room-only Poly ressie from 12/8 - 12/18 and saved $743!!! Granted, it's only about 20% off - but hey, I'm not complaining at all! Especially when I was told absolutely not yesterday for the same code.

I used the Annual Pass code PWE for a Garden View room at the Poly.

For two magical Decembers in a row.. I say:

:disrocks:

:yay: :yay: :yay:

I would like to take this moment to thank the dis board for my $407 discount.:worship: :worship: I joined this tread months ago and never thought that I would get a lower rate.:surfweb:

Thank you so much:grouphug:

:cheer2: I just saved over $800.00. We are checking in 12/20 to 12/29. They gave me the code for the whole time:cheer2: I was going to check in 12/21 but it was such a great deal I added the 1 night.

Our trip is 12/21 - 1/2. My parents are staying 12/19 - 1/2 and my brother is 12/21 - 12/26. I was able to apply the DGP code to all our reservations. We are at CSR and sadly we had to upgrade to a water view room to get the discount :lmao: . My brother and parents saved about $230 each. We, on the other hand, saved a whopping $30 :sad2: . My daughter is 20 y.o. this trip so our discount was wiped out by the charge for the extra adult in our room but hey, $30 is almost 4 Grey Goose slushies :drinking1 and my parents and brother are thrilled so I'm glad I could help them out!

Good luck everyone!

Ummm I just added about $500 to my original ressie...

we upgraded from CBR to AKL!!! My kids are going to be so excited. I think maybe I won't tell them until we get there.

AKL Standard View 7 day parkhoppers plus dining for $3109
