I just modified my AKL ressies to a standard room (from a savannah view...). We were paying $2599.07 for Two adult and One 3 year old for 6 nights/7 days with Disney Dining.

I hope that we're getting a good deal. I also hope that I don't regret downgrading from a Savannah view...I was REALLY looking forward to that. But we're paying $700 less than our original ressie so we'll just go to the viewing area to see the animals.

We already had the CR booked from Dec. 18-22 with a tower, them-park view. Our package price was $3561.37. This was with a one day base ticket, insurance and the dining plan. I just called and used code QXD and it was reduced to $2865.01. That saved me $696.36. I then told her I wanted to check for the Deluxe Dining with code UVL and the price she gave me was $3329.01. I went ahead and changed to the deluxe plan since it was less than we had originally booked for. We had the same plan this past May and loved it. The original quote for deluxe dining was $4025.37. I'm so excited!!!

I am trying to see if I can figure out how much I would save while waiting for my TA to call back. I knew I should've booked it myself so I couldve applied the code when I actually got through this morning.

My dates are Nov 30 - Dec. 6 th at the CSR. My TA says the discounts don't apply to my dates and are blacked out?? Could I still get savings from Nov. 30 - Dec 3rd? Confused and have no control since I went through a TA

I'm not sure how you would do it. I used a FL resident code, so I went to the FL resident link and looked at special offers and booked from there.

I never went through a travel agent so I can't really help there but I can say we just saved almost 400 on our existing ressie and we have blackout dates. We are staying Dec. 1-8. I would call her/him back and tell them to keep trying, obviously they are not trying hard enough for you.

I just priced out those same dates (11/29-12/6) for a family member. CSR is not available but POR and CBR are for a $422.94 savings over rack rate.

I tried switching at 10 or so this morning and couldn't get in..but that was for 12/7-14th....there was no availabilty. Good for you!!!

I just saved $160 off AAA rate for 11/29-12/6 at POP, standard room. When I checked earlier nothing was available at POP, now it was.

Did I do something wrong? I called in and used a GP code. We had a ressie at Pop for Nov 30-Dec 6th. I called around 8:30 and they told us no avail for pop so we moved to Movies and she put us in a preferred room. We have the basic dining plan. Dates she said were ok. But we only saved like 100 bucks. How is everyone getting such big savings?

The savings at a value is probably only $15 per night (remember that the mods and deluxes cost 1.5 times to 3 times more than the values so you must compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges )

I saved $540 from a value (POP). I didn't use a GP code though, it was Disney Visa code.
