December 2008 Code Watch

Is there a "typical" time that codes come out for the public. Is it usually x weeks/months before...or is it just random? We are not Florida residents/annual pass holders/AAA...all I have is a disney visa card. I am wondering about the types and times of codes I may qualify for.

Vsimeone -- I am the one DROWNING in the corner!! HA!!!! We were FREEZING the night we went to the Candlelight Processional -- sitting on those metal benches, 4 of us sharing 2 pairs of mittens and wishing we'd all brought our wool hats from Canada!!! I guess the good thing about that year was that because it was so cold we still have our waterpark option on our tickets that we can use next time we go!

Here's hoping for a warmer 2008!

I have gone the 2nd week of Dec. for the past 3 years and noticed that it was busier this year than in the past. I have talked to several other who have said the same thing. A friend of mine went the 1st week of Dec. this year and said the longest wait he had on any ride was 15 minutes. Even though the 2nd week wasn't what I'd call crowded, it was noticeably busier. All that is to say......it's hard to say which is better but I'm thinking I may try the first week this year. Pop Warner Sports Festival and MouseFest are typically held the 1st week but maybe they don't make alot of impact on the parks as they are generally involved in other activities too.

We are debating between the first and second week of December also. Right now we have a reservation for a bunk bed room at the WL Dec6-13th, but praying we get a discount.
The only reason I'm worried about the second week this year, is because its Pop Warner week.

Just wanted to say hello. We are booked right now for the 12/1 through the 8th. Deluxe CL at BW Inn. Course that is all subject to change. We started our summer trip at AKL and moved to BC lol.

We are hoping to book Swan/Dolphin Dec 9-13 prior to our cruise.
They aren't booking that far out yet...
I plan to listen faithfully to the DIS podcast but keep searching on the boards to find out when I can book!

Hi Folks! new here.

First trip scehduled Dec 11-20 : 3 days at Poly/3 at WL and then the hubby joins us for the last three. Taking three kids alone (9,7,5) because I hoped less crowds would make it easier, until he comes.
Does anyone (whos been at tht time) think thats not a good idea?
