Hoping for POFQ 12/6 - 12/13. I haven't booked anything yet but will probably request a quote from AAA in the next day or so.

My new motto - Happiness is always having a Disney trip in the works...and I just so happen to have 2, possibly 3 in my radar for the next 2 years (12/08 vacation, 6/09 Magic Music Days, ?/09 Disneymoon) **Will obviously needs codes...lots of codes to pull this off

Question:

Can you use AAA discount during the holiday? Like 12/22/08-12/28/08? Hoping for a code or something during those dates to do another family christmas with the mouse.

Hi,

I have found that AAA room discounts are available in limited quantities (first come first served) on all dates. The major difference is the percent of the discount varies between 10 to 20% based on level of property (value,moderate,deluxe,villa) and "season" (value, regular, peak or holiday).

My experience has been with booking directly with disney CRO and getting a room only discount, hope this helps.

Hi...where do I begin...have a DVC membership but hav found renting our points allows us more $ that would actually pay for a whole trip stay at a Value plus $1000 left over for money for the tickets!

Anyone have any experience with the Poly at the Holidays?

In 06 went to Disney from nov 27th to December 3rd. Just got back from disney on the 21st this year. Was there from Dec 12-21st. Planning our 08 trip for November 30th to December 8th. Can't wait!!

thanks Mike...I will definetly check that out. Don't have AAA at this time, but have been thinking about getting it...have a teenager driving now and would feel lots better if I knew he would be taken care of if somthing should happen.

After seeing the Disney decorations on the Travel Channel--okay, more than once! I decided I really need to see the decorations next year. So, I booked WL for 12/6-12/14. Not sure what my exact dates will be yet--I will likely cancel a few of those days. Would love a code!

I believe you have to make a deposit within 2 weeks of making your reservation. If it's a package, I think it's $200. If it's room only, it's equal to one night's stay. Then I think the balance is due 45 days before your arrival.

This is technically my second post on these boards...but, somehow I ended up following a link and posted on a teen board by mistake. Oops! We just returned from POR 12/8-12/15, and had such a perfect week that I called and booked 12/6-12/13/08 at the GF. I couldn't help myself!!! I can't wait to go back...I'm looking forward to spending the next 344 days chatting with all of you...going in Dec 08 and/or those who have just returned in Dec 07.
