We did it last year for Christmas. First people signed up for the exchange, then the person who was going early in December, or late November, purchased a cheap little tree (probably no more then $20.00) from Wal-mart or something, and it just got passed down according to hotel. Ours was only about 2 feet high, with little decorations, and built in lights, it was really cute, and nice to have for the holidays.

Not sure if I posted on here already, but was wondering if anyone in December is doing the Christmas tree swap again?

We went last year and stayed at POP and were part of this exchange, so for our time in the hotel we had a great little tree (I included a picture). Please let me know if you know of anyone doing the swap again this year!

I dont know about the States but I was looking in the Sears Christmas Wishbook here in Canada and they have a great little tree that i'm going to order to take with us. It's 16.99. You can get it in the regular tree colour or 3 other colours and they come with lights.

Lost my Dad last year right before Xmas. So the whole family thought

This is our first trip ever to WDW. I can't decide which resort, POR or POP. We being me, DH and DD 1 mo shy of 5 @ trip. I just added twin girls to the family so we are showing her she is not forgotten.

I want to relax but I bet we will spend all day at the parks, being our first trip. We are going 12/12-18/07. HELP!!! And we're coming from Houston.

Dear 2MoreAllens,

I have stayed at both Pop and POR and they both have Disney Magic. It really does matter if you are going to be spending every day in the parks or if you plan to do some "Resting" ha ha IMHO, Pop is colorful, playful and themed for children both young and old. Only downfall, the rooms are SMALL. There only being three of you, it shouldn't be a problem. POR is beautiful,a little more upscale and has a great pool. You are traveling in December...not sure how much use you will get from the pool Both should be beautiful for Christmas time and this being your first trip will be breathtaking.
