December 2007 Waitlist Thread

I just wanted to wish all of you that are waiting the best of luck! Last year I booked at the 6 month mark and was on the waitlist for the BCV and my waitlist came through about 6 weeks later, so there is hope! I know how hard it is not knowing if you will be staying where you want to stay or have all of your nights. A backup plan at a regular resort is always a good plan. I will be thinking good thoughts for all of you. Wish I could be there with you this year! The holidays are our favorite time at WDW!

We're waitlisted for a studio or 1 bedroom at BWV or BCV, Dec 2-8. We have a ressie for OKW 1 bedroom, but really want to stay on the Boardwalk. We had been waitlisted for a 2bedroom at the 7 month window, but now there's only 2 of us, so that meant starting over at the bottom of the list.

We have reservations @ SSR for a studio 12/6 - 12/9, then a 2bdr 12/9 - 12/14.
We've been on the waitlist for BWV/BCV since the 7 month mark. Nothing so far

Have fun!!! I booked our studio at the 7 month mark at BC. I need the last night. I sure do hope everyone gets their requrest.

First post on the DIS Boards! We are currently at SSR (our home resort) in a 2-Bedroom from Dec 2 - 7th. Waitlisted at the 7-month mark for a 2-Bed @ BWV, BCV, & VWL. I know that those three a very popular, so my chances of moving are slim, but that is okay. My DW and I are taking both of our parents to WDW for Christmas. The nice thing is that SSR is an awesome resort, which means if we happen to move, then great, if not, we still win.... We're going to Disney!

We have a reservation for Jan 1 and 2 for a 1 bdrm at SSR. We are waitlisted for a studio or 1 BR anywhere for Dec. 31st. Fingers crossed, but I am going to try to make a cash reservation somewhere to be safe.

We are going 12/20-24 and have a 1BR at AKV for 12/21-24 and waitlisted for 12/20. Not bad though since we do have BCV for 12/20. So if I don't get AKV for the 20th, we can check out Stormalong Bay.

We are waitlisted for BWV.

I'm waitlisted for SSR, Dec.2-7. When I called last Friday, there were no studios available anywhere.

I just called MS and asked to be put on the waitlist for a studio at any resort. Hopefully, it will come through.

I originally could only get a 1-br preferred at BWV, but the waitlist came through for a 2-br. Now we have Jan 2-4 in a preferred at BWV with the waitlist for a 2-br Dec 30-Jan 1. I am starting to sweat bullets that it will not come through.

Our waitlist came thru. We had OKW Studio for 12/8-12/12 and we got our BWV Studio (Garden/Pool view) waitlist. I checked online today and found the change. Woohoo!

I'm still waiting/hoping for ours (12/9-12/14 at BWV or BCV, 2br though).

My waitlist came through today! I got 12/2-12/5 2BR at BCV!! The family's happy!! (Maybe not as happy as me, though!)

I cancelled a 2BR and a 1BR at OKW - hopefully this can help out another family or 2.

Don't give up hope-waitlists seem to be moving a lot faster lately. We had a night come through last week as well.
