You do not need to make a post announcing that you are subscribing to the thread. I'm not sure why people do that...maybe to bump the thread?

I *so* would like to visit in December sometime, to see the decorations, but DH and I just did a quick trip in May. The only way I could justify it would be with an amazing deal of some kind.

I've even checked into renting DVC points (which we've done before) for 11/29-12/2 or 12/6-12/9, but no luck on getting a studio for those dates - even though it's supposedly a slower time (but apparently not for DVC-ers).

If a decent room-only deal would only be available.

Dodie, there was a good deal earlier in the year and that is why we are booked for ten days in December for only $49 a nite.

Maybe they will come out with a good deal later on? Has been known to happen. Trust me, I am a Hoosier too.

I'm watching with all of you. My DM decided the other day that she wants to go to WDW in December. Myself and DD bought APs when we were there in June so we are hoping for a code. If all else fails, I'll have my nursing license by then and hopefully the Swan or Dolphin will have nurses rates for that time of year.

Now the only thing we have to do is decide which week in Dec. to go. We're thinking about the week before Christmas.

Codes for December traditionally come out in August; but no one knows for sure if there will be one or what it will be. mousesavers.com has a list of the historical discounts.

I think the reason DL doesn't have codes is because there aren't many on-site rooms at DL....and so many partner hotels that are within walking/shuttle distance.

I tried for that too. I am going Dec 9-16 for my birthday. Hopefull something will come up.

I would love a code for December. Last year my younger son and I went for 4 days, including park admission plus hopper for around 550 dollars- that was awesome. I just booked a short trip for me and hubby for 11/30-12-3 so a code would be great!!

I just called Reservations today to pay off my August trip -- have a cruise planned for November...comes back in the first week of December and want to stay until Monday --- asked about codes/discounts for this time period and he said they all come out in August !!! Subscribing...

Also waiting for December rates. Have found great airfare prices from Germany to Orlando for the first two weeks of Dec, but don't like the rack rate for the 1BR at either SSR or OKW. So I'm waiting too.....and subscribing....
