I am fairly certain that you should delete the pin (string of numbers after the December 9th to 22nd) as it is against board rules.

I am headed out into the extremely cold temps here in a bit and do not have time to check to see if I have already posted to this thread or not so please forgive if this is a duplicate post.

We are booked into the Sports from December 9th (1st day of THE CODE deals for that month) until the 19th for $49 a nite.

When I got the offer I just jumped on it as that is the cheapest rate we have ever paid and it is not going to get any cheaper than that, barring some extreme disaster and I certainly am not wanting that.

Hope to see some of you there and hope you get a good deal too!!

We have booked POP from Dec.14-20 with Dining Plan. This will be our first trip during the holidays and our first on the Dining Plan. This will be a suprise trip for our two daughters. I am so excited!

When I booked it, I asked the CM if there were any codes in my name and she said no, but if I get one to call back and apply it.

So, I am waiting patiently for something, anything to come out......

I just called to try to apply 40% discount to my already booked POR package (12/15-12/21). It was for room only, but she looked and applied another discount that saved us $432.00!!!!!!!!!!!YEAH!!!!!!!

Well, I went ahead and booked for 12/1-12/8, even though I was told that "NO, there were no codes or pins available to me....." I figured I would do it regardless, since that timeframe is getting a bit booked -- tried for a reg room at WL, but all they had were the rooms w/ bunkbeds, so I booked a King room @ POFQ. I am also going to see if my parents want to just book a 2BR unit at the WLV, and then we'll just pay them the cash we would have spent on the room....this way their vacation would be paid for, and I will just have to worry about tickets. That, and I'm not sure if I'm going in Sept, if it worth it to upgrade my ticket to an AP....we'll have to wait and see.....

Hi .. I'm new to the DIS boards and this is my first post

Anyway .. my family is planning our first trip to WDW in December. My question is .. what is the deal with the codes and pins? I'm a bit confused. We have not booked yet. I do believe we will be staying at POP from 9-15 Dec. Can someone be so kind to fill me in a bit (or tell me where to look) in ref the codes and pins?

We're planning a trip either the 2nd week in December or the last week in January. I've been trying to get a discount to work for us, but no dice. I've talked to CRO three times and been emailing with my TA, but nada. A discount would really help because we're taking my Mom with us this trip; we finally convinced her to fly - she's never been on a plane before!

Trying to decide when to go is making me

December is good because of the Christmas decorations and because I know the 2007 prices.

The last week of January is better for the kids as they have a day off for semester break. Trying to balance the increased costs of 2008 with better airfare deals, historically, than December.

But then there's the week after Thanksgiving - the weather would be warmer.

According to Disney CRO, there is NO way to "get a code" if one is not randomly sent to you. I've been trying every couple of days, and keep being told it's random. I guess they figure that since I'll come anyway, regardless of a code, why send me one. I'm not gonna stress about it.

Use the code which can find on a link in this site. Call up and ask what rooms are available on that code for those dates. Do not mention pins. I did exactly that and was not asked for a pin. I live in England and we do not get pins or codes. I got the 40% off rate for BWV. I even changed my original booking from WLV and was not asked for the code again. I go on Dec 19th for 7 nights. Good Luck

"Subscribing" and hoping I'll get a code/pin by the end of the year. I believe I'm not getting the infamous postcard or email anymore either since we're visiting without someone twisting my arm.
