We have enjoyed 2 recent trips and have posted photos from both trips HERE

The December trip was a two family vacation in which we rented a house. It was a great time in which we introduced another family to the World and we got to see how Disney does the holidays.

The February trip was tagged on to a conference I attended in Orlando. We were fortunate to stay in the Wilderness Lodge.

Hope you enjoy the photos.

Beautiful - Thanks for sharing!

Where did you get the picture holding tink?

Your pictures were great. Only 8 more months till we are back in our happy place, your pictures make me want to be there NOW!!!!!

Braque,

For some reason my daughter held her hand out like that. She says that she was directing everyone's attention to the castle. Anyway, I felt like she needed something in her hand so I just took a piece of clipart and pasted it on the original photo with Photoshop. Glad you liked!

Great pictures!! Where were the picture-boards with Snow White/Dwarfs, Cruella, Steamboat Willie located? I haven't seen them before- they are adorable!

bjakmom,
They are in the back of Exposition Hall at the front of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. They also have a mini theatre set up that shows old Walt Disney cartoons. It was a new find for us on our last trip.

Great pictures! Thanks for posting!

Wish my photos from our Dec trip were as good. I am so impressed. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks Jim - I think that is where they used to exhibit the models of the parks as they were building them, Epcot, AK, etc. - I haven't gone in there in the last few trips - will check it out this time - the kids would love to have themselves in those pictures!

did you use a digital camera for those wonderful shots??? I just got one a canon s40.and can't to go in 6 days to try mine out..what setting did you use??? The highest or a med setting???

Great photos, thanks for sharing, I have to stay at the Wilderness Lodge on one of our visits. We use to stay in the old Fort Wilderness Trailers back in the early 80's. I remember when they were just starting to clear the land for the Wilderness Lodge.
My parents lived in Florida for several years(1988-1996) just north of Disney, and we stayed with them when we went to Florida. But, now that they are back here in NJ, we joined the DVC, and are going to try as many different resorts as possible, including going on the DCL.

Augustheather97,
Yes, they are all digital. I use the Canon G2. I have plenty of memory, so I use the highest resolution and finest level of compression. I have in the past used the normal level of compression and had wonderful results...so if your short on memory that would be my recommendation. I don't mess with the resolution because when cropping the images...the more pixels the better.

The Dalmations are in Exposition Hall in the Magic Kingdom.

Good luck with your new camera.

Jim

Thanks okwoodsmith.......Your shots are beautiful.....I have a 128 memory card and a 64 do you think they will be enough for an average trip????
Karen
.

Karen,
With the normal quality setting, I would guess that to be enough. On our trip in December I took about 1.5 GB of photos. This last trip I took about 500 MB. But that is with a 4 megapixel camera at the highest setting.

One of the nice things about digital is that you can review your shots at night and delete the ones that you don't want.

Have fun.
Jim

Thanks for the camera Advice Jim.....Mine is a 4 megapixal too, so it is good advice to go by......Your daughter is beautiful....Love the opening shot of her on the steps.....we have a 5 year old daughter too....they look about the same age.....we leave Sat so we are hoping the weather cooperates since it is FREEZING here in Maine right now....we need 70's BADLY
Karen:cool:

Karen--

I noticed my husband hadn't responded to your last post, he woke up sick so he's out of comission today. Our daughter is 5 too... I told him I was guessing by your name that you had a 5 year old. Our daughter is a September baby. I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip. Be sure and post your pictures for us to see.
