December 1st,good, bad, or ugly!!

please can anyone give my planning a kick start! Is Dec 1st a good US day to pick on a trip that starts 22nd November -2nd Dec, any advice much appreciated

Early December would be a great time to go! We were there in mid-December and it was great! Low crowds, pleasant weather!

what day of week is it?

we were there Saturday, Dec 1st last year (FOTL) still, the lines didn't seem long

decorations were up in the park (suess area); grinch/parade hadn't started yet

note that the parks closed early (7pm ish) even though it was a weekend

Dec 1 is a great time. The only downside is the park closing early. We did a 1 night on Dec 2 last year and stayed at RPR. It was amazing. The resort was beautiful and we had a blast in the park. Not many people there at all. We only used the FOTL pass once the whole day.
