December 19, 2013 - 3 Night Bahamian Cruise

Can someone explain the FE thing? Thanks

You bet...when Disboard groups generally cruise together, there is a "tradition" of doing a small gift exchange between cabins and cruisers to help create more "magic". pixiedust: Outside of your cabin door is a clip in the shape of a fish so that the cruise line may leave you reminders or notes during the cruise without entering your cabin. Someone many years ago, developed the idea of creating a hanging set of pouches/pockets, and it quickly became the "fish extender". This is a very personalized item. You can buy them or make them yourself depending on how crafty you are. We bought a blank one on ebay and decorated it ourselves. You can also look on etsy and sometimes pintrest to find people who make them for a fee. As we get closer to the cruise I will confime everyones participation in the fish exchange. It's not mandatory, it's just a fun thing to do. Now when it comes to gifts, that's up to you completely. If we stay close to where the group size is now, there will be about 10 cabins involved with about 40 different people in those cabins. So the only rule is you have to give at least one gift per cabin within your group. And you'll know if that's 20 or 10 or whatever. Some people go CRAZY with this and have a wonderful time making all sorts of things for each individual. We usually do an "adult" gift and then a gender specific gift for the children. You can distribute your gifts at any time while on the boat. It's a nice touch to come back to your cabin and have a little bit of magic waiting for you each time. Our DD loved looking in the extender each time.

Here are some helpful links regarding the FE.

2 Dream Must Do's for this week:

20. If taking Magical Express to the port from MCO, get to the ME desk at MCO by 9:00AM and be ready to get on the bus by 9:30AM and away you go.
21. Take in all that you can in the port terminal. It truly is a beautiful terminal.

Bump!

Another Friday has come upon us. Right now I am so looking forward to warm Bahama weather when we sail. :beach: It's a windy, cold, rainy Friday for me.:coffee:

This weeks Dream Must Do:

22. Check the kids into the Kids Club at the Port Terminal. (beware the line can be long)
23. The Kids Clubs open up at noon on the first day and be sure to get there when it opens to tour the clubs

Yep, airfare booked and night before booked at hyatt. Too worried about coming in same day as setting sail. So looking forward to the holidays!

I can't wait!!!! This is a dream vacation and I love your countdown of how many Fridays are left until we cruise. Can anyone tell me about the Rainforest Spa? I am surprising my DH with a day pass. Did I mention I can't wait, lol!

Ok, how much weight will a person gain on a cruise, lol! Mickey Bars, cheese platters, chicken wings some of my weaknesses, ha, ha!
