Hi, we just booked this cruise, is going to be a elf on the shelf surprise to my DD5, DD2. I don't know how I am going to keep it a secret.

Any ideas on what clues to use for the elf on the shelf?

I will also like to participate on FE,
Is my DW, DH, DD5 Valerie, and DD2 Isabella.

Can the admin of the Facebook page please change the setting to Closed and not Private. There are people who really want to join the FE group and be a part of the FB page that do not know about disboards. People are posting on FE group sites trying to find it. There is no need to be private. Closed is sufficient to keep your posts from showing up in your news feed.

SOOOO glad that y'all are coming with us on the big boat!!!

This is our first Disney cruise (my DD9's first ever cruise and my second cruise). We are BEYOND excited. We are the nerdy types....yes we HAVE researched about EVERYTHING we possibly could have about the cruise...but that just makes the organized chaos more fun in my opinion!

Lucky Penny and I recently booked this cruise. This will push us to platinum for our Magic 6/29/15 Norwegian Fjords and Iceland Cruise next year and we realized we had never seen any of the Disney ships decorated for Christmas. We generally cruise on the smaller Disney ships. We have a 10A GTY and late dining.
Anyway, we live in Woodbridge, VA and are contemplating retirement in the next couple of years. Looking forward to meeting you in December.

Hi everyone - Bob and I are looking forward to this nice break, our last cruise on the Dream was in February 2013.

I remember the DISboards when we took our first cruise - experienced cruisers were SO helpful to us "newbies" and we made some new friends who are still friends!

Look forward to meeting more new friends on this one.

Hi, Everyone. Just found this thread because although we booked this cruise in August of 2012, we THOUGHT it was just a dummy cruise and planned to move it!

BUT we made some plans to take some friends to WDW for their first time, and since they can't get there until the 16th, it just made perfect sense for us to go ahead and go a few days early and keep this cruise!

So, I've requested to be added to the FB group. The name is Tracy Schiller. (Please ignore the request from Alison. I didn't realize her FB was logged in!)

Will be taking this cruise. Haven't booked yet as we are still waiting for DH to get clearance for the days off. We intended to do this back in spring for our 10 year anniversary but someone let her and DS's passport ordering slip by and it was too late before I remembered. DS's 7th bday is Dec. 10th so we thought this would be a great bday present for him. This will be our first time on DCL. DH and I sailed RCCL 10 years ago, but are more excited about this one. Would love to join in on FE.

Just booked this cruise as a last minute addition to my 30th birthday celebration. I am knee deep in a masters program and didn't think I would have time to take a trip but super excited it worked out!!!

I thought that I would start our official fish extender group for all us travelling on the Dream, Dec 12th!

Hopefully most you have read about fish extenders or have participated in it before! Our group will close on November 12th, 2014.

So if you want to participate in our fish extender group, please either pm me or email me with all the detail I need to put this together. I will need,

DIS username
First names
Stateroom number(s)
How many people in your room are participating?
Gender of each person and age of children, only if you wish to disclose this information.
Any allergies we should be aware of. In case snacks are given.

I will put everyone's information in a word document and I can email it to you all on the 12th of November. That will leave exactly one month until the sailing.
If you would like to know earlier, I can email it to you anytime!
