We are beyond ecstatic about this cruise! The FE is just going to up it over the top. I cannot wait to start making things for the FE, and it will be something nice for my DD8 to help with to keep her from making me crazy between August when she finds out at her birthday and Dec when we go! lol

Of course, now I'm driving my DMother crazy as she's the only one at the house I can talk to about it!!!

Hi everyone! My hubby and I just booked this cruise. It is part of my graduation celebration as I am graduating from college in December!! It has been a long rocky road but I am finally almost there! I will finally be able to be an elementary school teacher as I have dreamed to be for a long time Just a quick question. My last cruise group made a facebook page, and it was much more active than the disboard thread. I have no clue how to make one, but I know how to join one. Is anyone interested in doing this?

Way to go for graduating!!! I have 9 classes to go to get my Industrial and Systems Engineering Bachelor's degree. And as a single mom, I totally understand the struggle to get there!!!

I can make a group on Facebook if everyone wants. Just message me your name that you want added or you can email it if you feel better with that. My email is: heather.hone@yahoo.com . I can make it where no one else sees it and it's very private. I would have made it already, but I have to at least add one person to make the group. Guess that makes sense, I cannot constitute a group on my own lol.

AND, I failed miserably! I let the cat out of the bag and told my DD8 about her birthday surprise. She's as excited as I am!!!

Rikkilee: My daughter (since I let the cat out of the proverbial bag) has been scouring pinterest looking for ideas with me of what to do for FE gifts. Of course, we cannot begin making the full #'s that we will need until we know how many later this year will be with us....but it is still fun nonetheless!!!

I was doing the same thing! But I've decided to give some aussie themed FE gifts!

I won't be on much from the end of March through halfway into April, I will be in Euorpe! Im off to the World Championships for Synchronized ice skating!! And we are stopping off at Disneyland Paris on the way home!

Thank you all for the posts you've contributed. It really helped us decided to take our first family cruise with Disney. We've chatted with a lot of friends who have either done other cruiselines and Disney World as a combo vacation, and some who have tried DCL. Based on everything I've read, I think the higher cost tag will be worth it. We are from WI, so a December cruise sounds awesome to us!

My DH (38 y/o) & I (37 y/o) have been on one cruise (RCCL) together a couple of years ago, which we loved. We decided to take our DD (8 y/o) with us this time around. This will be her first trip to FL, so we're very excited. She's 8, so we want to take her to Disney before she's "too old" for it. Right now, she LOVES the Disney princesses, and is old enough to keep these memories forever.

I signed up for the Disney Chase card for all of the great sign up bonus/incentives and rewards for using it to book our cruise. It arrived earlier this week, so I just used it to book a guarantee I/S cabin for the three of us today. This cruise was an excellent deal for us. We decided to go with the inexpensive room, so that we can splurge on the excursions and extras while on board.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone and participating in the FE (I think I got that right). I would love to join the facebook group, but the link doesn't work for me, maybe it's private. Would someone send me the details on how to join the FB page and the FE for gift giving/receiving?

Would love any advice on the best kid activities for an 8 y/o girl, and/or excursions.

We are traveling with another family so there are 10 of us total in 2 cabins. We will both be joining the FE for sure!!!

Our family has DH and Myself as well as our 14 yr old son and 7 yr old twins... our traveling partners will be our friends, and their 4, 5 and 7 year old boys.
