The Roy Suite was awesome! I was going to post a couple more pictures, of the verandah and master bedroom, but I thought that would be too obvious.

Here's something we have to look forward to on our cruise! If you've never cruised DCL during the holidays this is my favorite part. They start working on this at Thanksgiving, I believe, and keep working on it each day up until Christmas (I assume.) What's amazing is watching it change magically from night to night. I keep meaning to take pictures of it each day, but never seem to get around to doing it. Anyway, Here's a night and day shot of it where it was early in our cruise last year. It should be much further along by the end of our cruise this year (since we're a week later than we cruised last year.) Oh, and each year's is different so it likely won't look anything like this on our cruise, but the concept is the same.

You never know where on the ship you'll find a Christmas tree this time of year! The terminal is full of them

And there are surprising ones on the ship. This one was on Deck 5 outside the Buena Vista Theatre and Flounders.

And most people have heard of the ones on Castaway Cay!

And of course there is the big one in the Atrium lobby, used as the backdrop for many formal and informal photos.

There's also one in Palo, but I couldn't post that picture without you seeing our cheesy Brunch group last year!

I lover the gingerbread house! I have a hobby where I make a small house of chocolate and decorate it, this is going to be great to see!

The house last year was much bigger and cooler than the one 3 years earlier. And they'd also moved it to a different location where they had more room. Here's what it looked like on the Dec 3, '05 Western Cruise. These pictures were taken 2 days apart, so you can see how they enhanced the house and display in 2 days. (Parden the not so great shot of us in the 2nd one.)

They had a make your own gingerbread house activity last year. I think they did this several times over the course of the week. You weren't allowed to take them off the ship with you, but they made the room smell christmas-y the whole week! We were lucky that we had plenty of room to keep it, but our friends in a Cat 11 found room for theirs so I guess you find a way. Here's what ours looked like last year!

I hope I can get in on that activity it would be fun! Thanks for sharing this. I am even more excited than before!

but my family has been picking up FE gifts for a while now waiting on the right time to cruise... So, we'll have a little something for the FE participants, if you have extra.. include us please. I haven't received docs yet to confirm cabin placement....(we'll see!)

Welcome Poohfriend. I have you included on my list. Can't wait to meet you. Won't be long now.

I saw yesterday's picture and just assumed everyone knew where it was, so I didn't even say anything!

Me too...lol. Come on Bev....stump us! Of course we're all such fans and totally nuts, it may be tough to do. I have one I'll post, I'm sure everyone has seen it, but getting the exact location may be tough for some.

BTW....this cracked my mom up....she kept saying "did you see the picture with Mickeys hand on Minnie's butt?" :lmao:

Oh my gosh! How cool are the Dec's? I knew it would be decorated...(former DL CM here), but wow. How fun. It did make me cry though.... I think every picture we have throughout the cruise I may have tears in my eyes. This cruise/vacation for the two weeks will be our last Christmas all together for 6 years. Just looking at the pictures already has me anticipating it all.

I am super excited to see the gingerbread houses. We love making our own houses so I hope to see that activity available. I guess if we can't take it off the boat the girls will be allowed to eat the candy?? They will be excited about that.

I started a few sewing projects for the cruise. I bought material this summer but never started anything. I managed to make a dress for one of the 11 y/o. Of course, now that I started I need to make at least one thing for the three youngest. I am hoping to get a little dress for dd 6y/o today for pirate night. Wish me luck.

I love that mural! We call it "Mickey being inappropriate with Minnie! LOL

If I am not mistaken its found on the wall and you can view it from inside the elevator on ship.

Ok you want a stumper I have two favorite hard ones, lets see if you can figure them out.
