December 12 - 19, 2009 Western Magic

Yeah, we're in the same boat, with adjoining not connecting rooms, but we weren't looking for connecting rooms anyway.

But it would have cost us $900 more to book a Cat 10, so I can't complain too much!

Yeah, beggars can't be choosers, right? Well, I'm checking, just in case :rotfl2:

On the phone with TA, figures I got a kind of snotty one. "Well, if that room was available, they would have put you there." Ya know.....if I hadn't been involved in so many cruises, travel, family in the airline & travel industry etc....I would agree....but this isn't my first rodeo.

Rats, room had already been assigned. Really, that's fine. At least we're close, we feared being at the opposite ends of the ship.

Asked about our 17 being at the same table.....she say "I can tell you right now that's not possible. You'll be at 2 or 3 tables." GRRRRRR that's when I politely told her that it was possible....blah blah blah...:lmao:

so now that they're assigning rooms to the 20 or so of us who booked Cat 12's originally, they're now selling Cat 12 for 4 people again for our cruise.

I still wonder why so few of us (or none of us by my count) received a call to pay to upgrade to the Cat 9 on this cruise. It seemed like they called a few folks about moving from window to verandah rooms, but no one to go from an inside to a window.

Sorry, I have been missing in action. I have had four sick kids. We have been dealing with H1N1 and strept. Hopefully this means we will have built up a nice resistance to anything we may be exposed to after this.

I am in for bracelets Even my 11 year olds have pretty slender wrists and then there is the 6 year old. So I guess smaller bracelets would be great.

Good to see that you are vertical, at least long enough to get on the puter.

What was your room again Pam? Just wondering how close the girls will be. 2024? I remember thinking we'd had that room number before.

We got our room assignments I am glad we are next to each other!
Rooms are 5637 and 5639 Deck 5.

Fortunately I have stayed vertical. Mark, Clare and I have somehow managed to avoid the yuck. Just tired from dealing with everyone who has been ill.

We have 2122 and 2124. Just checked to see if anything had changed and it has not. Paige is actually very excited to be on the second deck so she is close to her activities.

How many and what size we have large youth and childs.

I guess I don't know how they would fit. All five of my girls have relatively small wrists and I don't know how small the child's wristband is. If I had to guess I would say four adult bands and three child's bands.

The FAQ of the website you mentioned says they have three sizes available - Toddler, Child and Adult, though the online site only mentions Adult and Youth. Basically it says the toddler is 6 inches, Child is 7 inches, and Adult is 8 inches. Do we know which size they are calling "Youth" or is it possible to get some of each?

The site itself includes a handy link to a self measuring tool that you can print out, cutout and try on for size.

I just cut out the templates and measured, and they fit a lot like our bands from last year. I actually need a medium/child size for me (which they say fits most kids and small adults) and a regular Adult size for my DH.

If we are able to break the order into the three sizes, I would now want 3 Adult, 4 Child and 3 Toddler (I bumped the total number up to 10)
