Umm can we get into the FE's also?

I added your cabins to the Fish Extender exchange list. PM me your email address and I will send you an invitation to th off site private group we have established. There you will find helpful links, a data base of those in the FE exchange, coupons, and polls to vote in. Welcome to the group!

Post a picture! We are going to try to make no sew fish extenders for our cabins I hope they turn out OK.

I ordered a fish extender and some pillowcases from the lady on ebay and they arrived today. The fish extender is the cutest thing ever!! Woo hoo! Now we're ready to join in the fun!

And the pillow cases came out great, too. The pillowcases we got have Phineas, Candace and Samantha on them (3 separate pillowcases.) They all turned out great!

Hopefully my fish extender gifts will last until the cruise! I was picked to host a DCL house party on Nov 14th and some of my FE gifts are looking a lot like party favors at the moment! :rolleyes1

We just switched our flight home after this cruise to United from Southwest. Our flight's at 11:36am at the moment. Now that we're on a participating airline, I guess we have the option of using DCL transfers to get them to do the onboard checking and handle the luggage until we get home.

I currently have a rental car booked, but could only get a premium car (Mercury Grand marquis, etc.) since they were out of minivans. Of our upcoming cruises, this is the one that we could possibly use the transfers on. Our 2 previous cruises we used a car service to transport us, but we had more people in our group so cars weren't an option.

Just wondering what those of you who have done both think. We're leaning toward the transfers because 1) we haven't done them before, and 2) DH is thinking the $40 difference is worth it for not having to deal with the luggage and tip the porters, plus the baggage check guys at MCO.

One hesitation I have is that when we took this same United flight last December, United changed the flight time to 11:25am, which is technically before DCL's 11:30am cutoff. We had no problems making that flight using the car service, but what would happen if we booked transfers and they did move the flight like that? Would we no longer be able to do the onboard checkin?

How late can we add the transfers back and still get the onboard checkin? It seemed like we could add them late, though I'd need to know so I could cancel the rental car before the cruise (or at least from Key West.)

You can actually purchase transfers at Guest Services on the ship and still use the onboard check in. You can also purchase at the terminal, at the welcome center at MCO, or by calling DCL.

One hint....they have been known to mess it up! If you book in advance but after they have printed your documents, bring proof of payment (such as a Visa bill) with you. If you book after boarding, it will appear on your KTTW onboard account--again, keep the papers with you. If you used a TA, you'll have to go thru them if you book before arriving at MCO--another good safety net because the TA will be able to verify that you paid in advance if DCL insists that you didn't!

Did you make these? They are awesome.
No I didnt make them but I have fabric laid out on my dinning room table and I am about to attempt to make some. Pictures later if it turns out well.
I even have iron on transfers to print my own graphics to use on it.:scared1:

HallsofVA, what is the ebay nic for the person who made the pillowcases? I have ZERO talent and I'd love to order one of those for my daughter.

TIA

gradysmommy made both the pillowcases and the FE I posted. The cases were cheap - like $8 something. I paid someone $20 for pillowcases last year.

I bought my FE from gradysmommy too.. just waiting for it to arrive... :) I think I might buy pillowcases as an early Christmas present as well..actually maybe I won't tell the kids at all, get them signed and then give them to them for Christmas!

Hi, We will be on this cruise too, myself, hubby & dd 10, Wondering if there will be any more 9-10 yo girls on this cruise that my daughter can make friends with. We are so ready for this cruise.

Hi Bridgette, my daughter Sarah is 9 1/2. I am sure she would love to meet your daughter.

Very nice! I will post the one I made tonight its not nearly as sophisticated or pretty as yours and the others posted here but I had a good time making it and never sewed a stitch! Let me go take a picture.

Could those with fish extenders tell me how wide they are and how long?

Buy rough guesstimate... ours is 8 1/4 inches wide by 19 or 20 inches long. (I measured with my printer paper

The ad on ebay says it is 8 by 21...

Thanks mine is about 7 inches wide I think its too long. I have extra material and am going to make another and my daughter is going to try too. If its too long I am worried it will touch the floor.
