December 11, 2004 Eastern cruise thread

Yipppeeee for us!
We found out about the SWA internet special flights and we booked a 4-night trip to WDW in Sept. for $78/pp round trip!! We are going to get special 3-day park hoppers plus 1 (for Disney Quest) and spend our trip at WDW and Downtown Disney. I AM PSYCHED! We can't decide whether to tell the kids or let it be a surprise...

Nice going jwann. I wold surprize the kids too.
Wish someone would surprize me with a trip to WDW! LOL

Great airfare Jwann....We are happy if we get $218 RT airfare out of Detroit. They rarely have cheap fares. NWA has the fares locked up there. Even the Southwest fares never seem to be what they are at other airports. We try to get the direct flight on NWA out of Flint. You don't have to deal with the traffic surrounding Detroit Metro. They have 1 flight each way each day to Orlando. It books fast because of the traffic and often is cheaper than Detroit Metro. I am going to WDW again in September with my niece for her 8th birthday and our fare was $218 RT.

With RT fares at $78, I would schedule a trip as well. You can't beat those fares!!

bump.....bump.....bump

Just wanted to get us back on the first page. Only 150 days to go!!! 51 more and we will be in double digits:hyper:

We are finally under 150 days! It seemed to take sooooo long to get here.
Hope everyone is having a nice summer.

This is our first cruise. I have small children under age 6 and also am travelling with about 7 other family members all adults. I hope you'll understand if I don't post names and ages of everyone as I am a bit leery of posting a lot of personal information. But I am excited to talk about the cruise as we are all looking forward to going.

Have you picked shore excurions? Is there a time by which it is better to book them?

thanks!

I am sure you all will love the Disney Cruise like as much as the rest of us on here.

No,we haven't picked any shore excursions or have done any on our previous cruises on Disney. We plan on doing some excursions this time around. We will be going to coral world, snuba, and island tour of St Thomas. We will probably book them in October.

Bump to the first page!

Has anyone heard from Bonnie?? Are you out there Bonnie??

Yes, where is Bonnie? Hope she is out enjoying her summer.

Maria - don't know for sure what snuba is - a combination of snorkle/scuba? Anyway, no, I won't be doing that. I enjoy touring the islands and seeing the sights.

Another month almost gone!
