Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

We'll be at WDW before the cruise for about 4-5 days, staying at Ft Wilderness! We're doing MVMCP on Tuesday the 8th. I'd be up for a meet, (Dh is going to hate this! ) but i know we'll have to meet with the wedding coordinator sometime after we board, and I won't know what time that will be until we get onboard.....so hopefully i can work around everyone'se schedule.

we plan on doing MVMCP on Tuesday the 8th as well. We will be renting a car so the 9th we will go to universal. Then after the cruise we haven't decided if we are going to stay or just leave later that day, we hate having to rush to the airport after the cruise

does anyone plan on going to disney world before or after the cruise? I think my dad are going before for that christmas party, can't remember what it is called

We will be at the Poly from the 5th to the 10th when we head to DCL....

I wanted to let everyone know that NASA has a launch of the space shuttle targeted for Dec 10th!!!!!! SO, we may be heading to the port earlier to see that!! My DS 12 will just die!!! I hope the weather cooperates, and they don't have to change the schedule. What am I saying? I hope the weather cooperates and we don't have rough seas!I'm so worried about sea sickness. I'm getting a patch from my doctor, but I get sick on Dumbo.

Sign me up for a meet and greet. I don't remember my cabin number, but I know both my parents and I have secret verandah rooms on both decks 6 and 7. You just gotta love DIS!!!!

Oh wow. If my husband gets to see the shuttle take off, he will be in heaven.

Oh, my DH and DS will be so excited if we see the shuttle take off! We will be doing a van service from the Poly to port (going with another family) and right now, I am planning that we will do chef Mickey's that mroning, then head to port....what time (if known) would the shuttle take off?

I am hoping for great weather - none of us have ever been on a cruise, so hoping there is no sea sickness!!!

I just called my husband at work so I could tell him about the shuttle. He's going nuts already. He's always wanted to see it! I hope it isn't too early in the a.m. or we're going to have to high tail it out of WDW!!
We're staying from 12/6-12/10 at BLT and hoping to go to MVMCP either the 6th or 8th. Although the 6th might be more crowded b/c it's a sunday.

I would love to do the FE and meet - I'll PM my info to you DisneyFreak1. We were talking the other day about some fun gift ideas! I will be doing the stocking for sure!!
I am always a bit nervous of having a meet, not because of the people, but I worry something will come up and I won't make it! But I will sure as heck try!!

We would love to see a shuttle launch too. There was a launch scheduled in just before our February cruise and it was postponed. My husband worked at the space center many years ago and got to see a night launch. He got a few photos too. He said it was amazing. We''l keep out fingers crossed.

Right now the NASA website does not have a time listed, but I'll post it as soon as I find out. Hopefully, it will go off as scheduled.

Just finished my FE following the no sew instructions here on the boards. It turned out a lot more sturdy than i thought.

Well, it's happened to me again. I get a thread of people that's awesome and I have to leave. But, the good part is, DCL gave me back my Nov. 22 date and the voucher has been applied, and with a high schooler (who is taking a bunch of weighted classes next year) that is such a relief. We have the whole week off for T'giving, so we will be able to go without missing any school and still do some park time and probably even MVMCP. Their generosity is going to cost me, lol.

I hope you all have a wonderful cruise, and get to see the shuttle launch (how cool would that be?).

Oh, and LD Nurse, your FE is AMAZING. I hope I can get my new group to do them. So far there are only 3 of us on the thread, so we'll see. I so want to try it.

LD, where did you find the no sew instructions. Your FE lloks great!

Here are the instructions for the no sew FE. The heat n' bond works really well, once you read the directions!!! I, of course, had to read them a few times. But when it COOLS, it is really tough. Good luck!!
