I forgot I posted this until I got the email notification from you.
There are 4 of us. We are booked in a category 11 - late dinner seating. I can't wait! I have a coworker going this December and I am so jealous cause they booked after us and are going before us. O well - I know I got a great deal booking early.

D? (Due 11/24/05 - so he (we think its a boy) should be almost 1 at the time)

I can't find the other posts to check them out. Which one should we make the official thread?

I think we should make this one the "official" thread! At least it is near the top of the list. If I can fiind the other posts again, I will send you the link (if I can).

We are booked in Cat. 12 for 3 cabins, but we will be in Cat. 11's (at least 2 families) because there are 4 of us in the room. I am hoping for an upgrade - but don't have my hopes up! Talk about jealous - my aunt treated her entire family to a cruise - like 25 of them, Cat. 4 and up. But you know, I will be thirilled to just be on the ship and not at work

i think this is a great idea, so we should know more about each other, and even our kids, that way we could meet up on ship and our kids can have some friends, so it is me -adult, my mom and dd who will be 10 when we cruice,

Cool! My daughter will be 9 - I don't think they will be in the same club, but may get to meet up at the pool! Also traveling are my son who will be 6, niece who will be 8, 2 nephews that will be 5 and 3.

We are booked into Cat 12's right now, but I know that at least 2 cabins will be upgraded to a Cat 11 because there are 4 of us in each cabin. Just my parents will be booked with 3 in a cabin... I am hoping for an even better upgrade, I just hope that it doesn't leave my parents behind, since this is more or less their treat

Are you doing any days at WDW as well? We will be staying for 3 nights at least at Port Orleans.

Hi there! Sorry, no kids here, but we just switched our sailing date to the 12/10 - 12/14/06 sailing, so we'll be joining you too!

Just me and DH, a pair of young-at-heart 30-something DINKs.

We will also be staying at the Boardwalk Inn from 12/5-12/10 before the cruise. We are excited as this will be the first time that we will be at WDW and on a ship to see them decorated for the holidays!

we are going to do 4 days at wdw we arrive on the 7th or 8th still deciding, and we will do 2 or 3 days before the cruise and the last or last 2 after, we spend more time at universal-i like it better -soryy especially IOA, but look below and see all we have planned, but it will be nice to at least know a few people

Happylawyer, no need to apologize! We, too, love Universal Orlando (and are even Annual Passholders!). In fact, we just got back from a mini honeymoon from there. Nothing beats staying on-site and getting FOTL access! Enjoy your time at UO!

You know, I have never been to Universal, but would love to. I could get used to staying at one of the 4 star hotels and getting to cut in line! Why, oh, why can't we do that if we book an extended stay at WDW/DCL Oh, well! I will have to settle for FastPasses

My sister and our friend decided to join us on the cruise! They got a great rate from DU and booked. They were able to get a great location on a Cat. 11, just one deck below us!

And ktpool, you should really give Universal a try some time. They've had some great rates at the beginning of December in the past!

I will have to try it... can you believe I went to school 60 miles from Orlando and never went really anywhere but WDW? I think it will have to be on our trip after this one. The kids will be out of school for 8 days as it is, and we will have the WDW tickets to use up any 'extra' days we might stay.

We will have to work on a meet and greet for the ship for everyone

We'll be there too!! It will be me (33), DH (30), and DS (3) in a Cat 11. We are going to be spending a few days before at WDW but we're not sure where we are staying yet. This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise. We were on the Magic when it was out here on the West Coast.

My nephew will be 3 as well when we cruise. I don't know if you are planning on using the kid's clubs, but if so, maybe the boys will not be nervous if the become friends the first day!

We will have to arrange a short meet-n-greet the first day if only to say HI!

I know I saw a thread somewhere that the DISboard people where a certain color yarn bracelet the first day to recognoze each other...we all should do that

Hopefully, we all will get to know each other a little bit by next year! Yippee - only 13 months! I can't wait to get to teh 1 year count down

I bet the Magic was awesome. You will have to fill us in on the differences - convince my husband I need to do a 7 day next time!

I had considered changing to December 3rd, but found out the rate I wanted is sold out so it looks like there will be will be there on the December 10th, 2006 4 night cruise. There will be 3 of us.

We're doing the cruise followed by 6 (may 7 nights) at WDW. This will be our first cruise so really don't know what to expect.

Now comes the fun of making our DVC VWL booking at a busy time of the year. I'm hoping to change over to BCV or BWV at the 7 month window.
