My TA called for me to pick our travel documents. I am going to pick them up tomorrow. I started packing and its not going very well. I cant do it with Christie and Howard at home. Every time I turn around......Moma, Moma,Moma. I love them to death but need to get packed. So imagine my luggage all over the living room and right where my CHRISTMAS TREE SHOULD BE!!!! I am suppose to be having fun right? Our secretary called me all giddy. She just got back and was still on a disney high, I just wanted to sit down and cry. William came home sick and running fever. I tried to be the sweet little wife, so I got him some medicine and told him to get in the bed because He would be sitting at the doctors office at 8 o clock in the morning. The tire store called to say my tires came in that I dont have time for but I am still going in the morning. I have given up today and am hoping for a better tomorrow.

Ian - The best I know is we are meeting at Shawns (happylawyer) cabin at 3 o clock the day we get on the ship to exchange our magnets for each other representing where we are from. The children are doing a gift exchange but since you dont have any children, that wont pertain to you. If you pm Shawn she will email you a master list of everyones cabin numbers and cell numbers if available.

I did the early registration for the Poly today-t wasn't anything exciting. They just asked the same exact questions they asked when I booked the room originally. Kinda disappointing-I was expecting a tingly feeling or something once I completed it

Me too! Christie was very disappointed that we still didnt know what room. I really dont know how that 5 minute phone call is going to save us time at check in but we will see.

I got my docs today. Haven't even looked at them yet. My husband threw the package at me when I walked in the door after work!!!!

It's really going to happen!

Yeah!!!! We have to cheer for someone!

Okay, first of all, I did this at work today (in front of people I respect):



I did the happy banana dance because - there it was... an envelope from my bestest girlfriend in the whole world - we really should be connected at the hip for the whole cruise, btw.

I got my glow-in-the-dark (tested it, they really do) DIS green rubber bracelets with the key phrase "Disney Cruise 2006" emblazoned on them. I cannot tell you how totally psyched I was to get them! Yay!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!

Back to normal posting, ah-hem, so I was thinking that I would bring my bag of goodies with me to the quick gathering in the froo-froo suite and then catch up with anyone that doesn't make it later. I put everything together this morning and was pleased with how it all went together. I hope you all will like what we are bringing.

Has anyone else been checking Accuweather like 40 times a day? I am obsessed and really hoping we don't freeze to death on our snorkle adventure on CC. It looks like it will be warm-ish. I was hoping for pseudo-hot. That is probably not going to happen.
I think our timing for the trip was pretty good though because it is supposed to be pretty cold here toward the end of the week. I think 70 at WDW will definitely beat 30 in Albuquerque.

Is it Friday yet????

Nancy - I am so glad you finally got them!!! I cant believe it took that long!!!!! That is crazy. It really makes me wonder about sending a package early to the resort. I think I have just about decided to go buy a couple of pieces of bigger luggage to replace a couple of my smaller ones and not ship early. I am not organized enough yet to ship which would need to be done tomorrow.

Did everyone else recieve theirs? If not, I will have plenty and will bring them with me to our gathering. Also, I had already started making goody bags for all of the children originally for pirates night before we talked about the gift exchange. I am sticking with my original gift but will have one for every child whether they are "participating" or not so no one feels left out. I can completely understand for those who arent on her daily to not be able to keep up!!! I am so excited, a little stressed, but very excited.

In the future, we now know that painting, remodeling, refininshing floors, Christmas decorations, and traveling is not a good mix all in two weeks time. Before we leave for our trip, I will have everything back to normal. I will also be in desperate need of a vacation.

I didn't decorate the house at all. I guess Joe will have to settle for the decorations in our room at AKL. There is just way too much to do before we leave to decorate the house. Maybe I will come home really motivated (doubtful) and I will put up a tree and make everything lovely then.

Neal-happy belated bday!

Can't believe we're in the under 2 week countdown!! Can't wait! I finally got my stateroom assignment (Shawn I pmd you with it to update the master list - can you pm or email me w/ it when you're done?). I'm excited! I have a solid white wall verandah - 1st for me (had the plexiglass one last time).

Got my 1 door sign (figured that was as much as I could get out of myself ), and the magnets finished up. Hope you guys like them.

I'm up for the 3pm meeting in Shawn's room (just let me know where to go!). Can't wait to meet everyone.

I nearly peed my pants laughing from you post! My co-workers HATE anything Disney because of me. They are so sick of me and my Disney plans, and Disney Friends, etc.

I totally have been obsessed with the weather. I woke up at 4am and went to check the 10 day forecast for Orlando because it now shows 2 days of our trip (wheeewhoo!!) I was hoping for scorching too, but I'm happy with not freezing!

Shari- I feel for you, I'm sorry that you are "doing it all!"
I am feeling the same way. I have washed every piece of clothing in our house and set out the piles that need to be put into suitcases. 3 times now the kids have pulled an outfit from the top and put it on-even after I lined them up and said "DO NOT WEAR ANY OF THE CLOTHES IN THESE PILES!". Their drawers are full to the brim-they can take the extra 1o steps to their bedrooms to get outfits!?

3 of my kids have sinus infections(and are very whiney because of it) and the baby suddenly decided she wants to be potty trained. Which would normally be a great thing, except she yells "Momma pee pee" every 10 mins and I have to stop what I'm doing and monitor her activities. She is a toliet flusher and last week it cost $325 to get the whole container of wipes she flushed out of the main line!
I need a maid, nanny and personal packer right now (oh and someone to decorate the house because the tree is sitting outside waiting for someone to put it on the stand and give it some love!)

But of course, I have plenty of time to be here typing about my lack of time! I better go get packing! -
