December 1, 2012 Magic Galveston

Hi everyone! Just booked this cruise  Got a great military rate and couldn't pass it up! We also have a cruise on the Fantasy booked for April 2013 :rotfl: It's just me Curtis (39) and Lucas (27) no kids. It will be my second Disney cruise and his first!

Hi guys,

I just booked a brunch at Palo (I dont want to miss any of the fun nights with my kids! I would hate to miss pirate night)

and we booked the Boatswains Adventure Marine park for Grand Cayman. Was not a ton we could do with a 3 year old and that looked like it might be the best one.

Have not booked for Costa Maya or Cozumel yet.

We have only taken one other cruise a Carnival cruise in January of this year - so we are super excited and my girls cannot stop talking about it.

Sparker I will email you our information - we are really excited about the FE what a FUN FUN way to add to the fun.

Waiting impatiently for December!!
Michelle

Hello and welcome to the thread! Here's to a few more from the boards on the ship! :beach:

Good morning everyone!! We just joined this cruise yesterday. Like CurtisB, we got a fantastic military rate that I could not pass up plus travel agent gave us an OBC. My husband also travels frequently for work so we are all flying for free and cashed in some rewards for a pre cruise hotel night. :cool1:

We are Tracey, Jate and Tyler, 2. This will be my third time sailing DCL and my husband and son's second time. We were fortunate enough to go on the Dream for NYE last year - which was a double dip and wonderful!!! It will be different to be on a Disney cruise and not visiting Castaway this time around. Castaway can't be beat by any other island I have ever been to.

Since the options are limited from the airport to the port we decided to book the Disney transfers from the hotel to the port and back from the port to the airport. This time around for us it was the cheapest route.

Looking forward to cruising with you all. I plan to look at some of the excursion options this morning.

Wecome aboard! So excited! We haven't planned any excursions yet but we did book Palo brunch and a Palo dinner! :cool1:

Does anyone know what the dining rotation is? Is it 1231231 or something different? I've heard on some cruises you may eat at the same MDR two nights in a row. How about when formal/semi-formal/pirate nights are?

This is our first cruise as well. We might be interested in doing the fish exchange...just need to research a bit more of what to bring ;)

Look for the Aggie shirts on board - The Seaton's:cool1:

Yes i was wondering if I could stay up long enough for the pirate party :o We've booked our excursions, and most of them begin late-we'll see if we can sleep in and order room service for breakfast!

Avery 9 m
Arwen 8 f
stateroom 7582
no special events and no allergies yet

And thank you for organizing this!

I am curious to know what everyone has planned for the excusions. Since we have a young toddler we will probably do mostly beach days at the ports. If anyone else plans to visit some of the beaches on their own, let me know. Maybe we can share some of the transportation costs.

Does anyone want to share a cab to Chankanaab with me and dd? We are doing the dolphin swim there. I am fluent in spanish. Let me know.

Good Morning All!

Thanks for setting this up!:thumbsup2

The only excursion we have set up so far is the tequila and tacos in Cozumel. We may go snorkling in Grand Cayman. Not to sure about Costa Maya but thinking about the ruins.

Thanks for setting that up. The excursions we are doing in Grand Cayman is 7 mile beach and in Cozumel we are going to Chankanaab park to do the dolphin swim which is 2 for the price of 1 if you book by Sept. 30th. Great Deal!!!! Just put down a hotel name instead of the cruise. Learned that from Disboards. hehe

We're not quite sure what we are going to do with our 2 year old either. Most of the excursions would probably be a bit too much for him. Or cost too much for us to have him scream the entire time. ;)

Hi and welcome! We're also waiting to see when the pirate party is. Going to see if it is a big mistake to keep a 4 year old up that long. His normal sleep time is 9 pm, so we know it's going to be late for him. That and only one of us will be able to accompany him at a time since we're definitely not keeping the toddler up that late. That would be a horrible day after. :lmao:

Excellent! Thanks for this. It will make it easier for my wife to participate as well, as she is on there more than these boards. :thumbsup2 Request sent. Thanks!

I believe generally it's pretty late, close to 9:45 pm with fireworks at 10. Since second dining doesn't seat until 8:15 they have to wait for everyone to get done with dinner before they start.
