Hi everyone! We just booked today! (We are becoming fans of last-minute bookings!) I'd love to join the facebook group.

We are: me, my DH and our son, who will turn 3 two weeks before the cruise.

Also, are we too late for the FE exchange? Our last cruise we booked only 2 weeks out so we missed it, but we would really like to participate this time if we could. We won't know our room number until 2 weeks out - we booked an IGT rate.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!

!! So glad you are booked and joining our merry growing band of cruisers. Posting here is much easier for me to do than over on Facebook so I have a tendency to stay here but I do pop in over there as well.

Six weeks from today we will be at AKL. Not sure about MVMCP as I thought (that is what I get for not reading the details under titles) there was not a party the night of 11/30. Might have to consider that, providing our travelling buds are interested. If not, that is all good as well.

Well, where are my manners?!? (Yes I am from the south LOL) Welcome! so glad you can join us! Yes as Help Desk Guy said, there is a second FE but it is growing about as big as the first one! YOu got an INCREDIBLE rate! I'm curious to see what kind of room you got. I am going to plan on getting a guarantee rate room my next cruise. Please come over to our FB page. Many chat on there. I find it easier to chat on FB because I am on there so much as it is. Anyway,

I posted on the f/b group but in case someone is here and not there, thought I should share here too. We are traveling without kids (nothing against those with kids, we have them, even grandchildren and love them with all our heart). Hoping to link reservations with anyone that might be interested in sharing dinner conversation. We did this on two of our cruises and have become great friends over the course of several meals. If anyone wishes to link with us (it's me, Patricia and dh, Dale), we are both on the f/b page and occasionally on here. If you would like to do this, pm me and I'll let you know what we have to do.

We made friends (on our recent cruise in June) with so many before hand via our f/b that we linked with a group of nine of us and had a blast. Ages at our table were 22 - mid 50's or so. We all had fun.

TO all DVC members- our cruise is on sale! $945 per person. With four people in our cabin in a 4A, my TA saved me $1,000. Disney will allow the sale to be applied to one cabin previously booked. I got $1,208 back but lost the $200 onboard credit I had for booking while I was on a cruise. Net effect is the savings of $1,000 without having to do a thing. Same cabin as I had, same excursions. Just had to have the TA rebook me under the sale price to get the $1,208 credit.

Hubby and I booked this cruise today after we received the email from DVC/Disney Cruise Line with the great rates! It should be a fun cruise; we sailed on the Fantasy this past May and we loved it!

It is a great deal, isn't it? I can't believe that DCL is doing the right thing and letting those of us who booked years ago have the same sale price as those booking today. I fully expected my TA to tell me that the deal was for new bookings only. I will still have to share my cabin with not only my husband but also my sister and niece rather than have two cabins for the 4 of us had we booked today for the first time. But for a $1,200 rebate, I can stand having the 4 of us in one cabin. That $1,000 will pay for a lot of excursions and special dinners. Maybe a few surprise gifts waiting for people when we get to the cabin, too...
