December 03, 2005 Western Magic?

Just an FYI - we reserved a set of connecting cat 6's for this cruise and turns out we don't need them after all. If anyone is interested in them, let me know. The price we have them at is $2,966.36 for each room with 2 adults (plus $150 onboard credit for each room). Just PM me if you want info.

The party is alot of fun! Free cookies, hot chocolate, family photo. You purchase a special ticket about $35 for adults, the ticket is only good for that day. They open the park at 7PM, be sure to be there early and it stays open until 12PM. It is snowing down Main Street and they have the Christmas parade (same as Christmas Day) twice during the party, as well as fireworks. What is really nice is the crowd is restriced. A CM told me that they only sell 2000 tickets per evening. We never waited for any rides and had great access to the characters! Of course don't forget they offer a special pin every night of the party, so be sure to get yours it is the only time you are able to make the purchase. They are available just inside the park to the right (I can't remember the name of the building/restaurant). Plus everyone dresses in their holiday sweaters/sweatshirts. We had fun just planning what we would wear.

We plan on going on Thursday before our cruise, just so we have our annual dose of the Magic Kingdom! :earsgirl:

Don't worry, I'm sure I'll be crazy by then.....

mom and dad is doing the snorkle and i will do the sting ray.

Jeanna, nothing is set in stone. We might do one offered by DCL, or we might do Capt. Marvins. It hasn't exactly been decided yet.

I will say hello to Mickey and Pals tomorrow - going to Epcot for the day.
...and John is right....time is marching on!

I booked my airfare today, I decided to go with Spirit. Now just to decide on the rental car.

Any suggestions on excursions? Likes or Dislikes. Our daughter will be 6 when we leave.

Say hi to the mouse for us!!! :earsboy:

Alright Kim's group, it is that time. I need you to get together and let me know about the group dinner at Palo. I have talked to a couple of you about a group brunch as well. Those of you that want in, let me know. Think about the best day for each of them. We also have quite a few special occasions to plan around as well. We have my 30th birthday (imagining John visiting my room in a grim reaper costume to a very darkly decorated door)! It is also my dad's birthday, too. I was the best birthday present ever!!! It is also Sarah's birthday and Linda & Ed's anniversary. One of the KY princess: has a birthday too! Let's get planning!! I need to know about our rotation preferences as well. I will get all that booked ASAP. I am about 1/2 way through the corporate taxes so I will need something to keep me busy. :moped:

Let's get planning!!!! :hourglass

Jeanna

The KY's vote for Palo's on Thursday evening(semi-formal nite)...not so late that we miss the dessert buffet...or eat to much to don't want to go to the buffet. We also vote for Monday for brunch if this is going to happen. As far as the rotation goes, it would be nice to be in Lumier's for formal night again. It is the fanciest of the 3. If we stick with PLA then we will spend formal night in Animator's. But this isn't a real concern for us. We will stick with the majority. John puts in his vote for APL. He would like to celebrate Denise's b-day in AP. We never went there last year so Denise hasn't seen the show yet and neither have Nicole or Jasmine. But like I said, we will stick with the majority when it comes to dinner rotation.:disrocks:

OK - I have been asking for a while now what everyone wanted but no one said anything. It looks like we have gotten bit by the cruise bug because I have actually gotten responses back!! :rotfl2: It looks like the rotation may be APL. And, as long as we can do Brunch on Sunday (Key West) **edited for clarification - Brunch will be in the Wine Room of Palo** we will go for the 10:30 brunch to be done by about 11:30 ish and able to get off the ship by noon. I will confirm that they will have brunch on a port day but Linda was able to do it on the last Western cruise because the ship doesn't get to the port until noon. As for the Palo group dinner, Thursday seems to be a highly requested night. Our choices of times are either 6:00 or 9:00. My dad can't eat late or he has digestion issues (I will spare you all the gory details) and it seems Linda has the same issue from time to time. Since we are early for this cruise, does anyone oppose the first seating for Palo? No need to reply Pat, your objection is noted. :goodvibes If the majority doesn't want this time, I can either book another night with my dad or something.

How does this sound to everyone?? :teacher:
