What time are most arriving at the port? It seems the veterans arrive a day or so early. We are arriving late on Friday in Orlando and group agreement is to take the 8:30 bus to airport to catch our bus to the port. Any green Mickeys on this agenda also?

We're heading into our basement today and tomorrow. If I don't answer any postings within 24 hours, send help. This little venture will test 26 yrs of wedded bliss. DS still in Milwaukee, must have enough warm clothes, no complaints yet, other than the drive up there. Very windy. Last night at 10:00 it was 17 in CR Iowa.

To my counterpart in crime, putting up the Christmas tree before we leave is way too organized. I'm looking at Christmas Eve!

Now starts the "BYEs ... See you soon". So exiciting!!! We're going early Wednesday morning. Last one to go, please shut off the lights.

Cindy - we bring our own beer and use the refrigerator. We've been lucky the last 2 cruises and had refrigerators that kept the beer very cold.

BEER DRINKERS - there is a beer tasting (probably the afternoon of the first day at sea). We'll be there if we can convince Matt to go to the club. It's fun - they have trivia with it. This is our "tasting" experience because we don't drink a lot of wine. Hope to see some of you there.

Today is the day!! We're putting up the tree and decorations. Then TOMORROW I'll think about packing. At least I have my list and I think we have everything - it's just trying to get it into as few suitcases as possible. The snorkel gear takes up a suitcase on its own.

Gailyn - my Matt is talking about your Matt constantly. He is so excited to see his "best friend".

Well .. I better go help Rick with the tree. I'm getting some LOOKS that mean "get off that darn computer". I'll be back in a while.

Atlantis DISers - we want to have a meet over there, but no one has suggested a time and place. So how about noon at the kid's pool? I don't know what time we arrive so I didn't want to go too early. We'll probably be hanging out at the kid's pool so come on over.

I am SOOOOO excited about this vacation. Looks like we have a great DIS group and that is going to make it that much better. Of course, I get excited about ANY vacation - ANY time away from work. Just 2 more work days for me .. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe

Hello all,

I'll be heading out in a few hours for the drive down. We plan on making Stafford, Va tonight, leaving from upstate NY. Tomorrow we plan on making it to Savannah, then finish up at AKL on Sunday.

We'll drive from AKL to Port Canaveral Saturday morning, probably looking to get there around noon to unload luggage and park the car.

We booked the auto train for the return trip, should be interesting, and saves me 900 miles of driving after the trip.

We have friends who will be on board and for the life of me, I can't get them to join the disboards....so the only way I can get updates on their trip will be thru you guys. WOW ... everyone must be packing!!! No posts in 8 hours. I spent the day putting up the tree and the decorations. Amazing how much longer it takes with a 6 year old ... but OH SO MUCH MORE FUN!!!! Except when he yanks the expensive stuff out of boxes. I don't have a lot of expensive ornaments, but he seems to find them. Luckily nothing broke.

Tomorrow is my day for packing. PLEASE don't let me procrastinate any more!!! If you see me on the boards on Saturday make me get to that packing. Thank you friends!!

Have to finish laundry, than can finish packing. We leave on Thursday to go to Florida. Would like to have tree up before we leave. We'll see, but I am working the next 4 days. Just got a few more things to buy for Christmas. Planning on finishing the shopping on the cruise.

Great! Lisa went to HD depot today and got the real Alien Green Mickeys for us. We are laminating her door sign. Hope they don't take them down. I was at VonMaur tonight and Target, hopefully the last trip. Not in the mood, but Von Maur running 1/2 sales on men's clothing. Nate will hopefully make it home from Milw. tomorrow, they had snow today and still snowing at 10:00 pm. We'll look forward to meeting you at bus, if our plans go as stated and the Gentlemen get out of bed. Our great room has all of our suitcases, watch me forget our passports. As for the tree, the tree in the kitchen will go up tomorrow and that may be it for this year. It was a long day in the basement and returning tomorrow to clear out the closets.

DOES ANYONE KNOW, is there a library on the boat to borrow novels to read while relaxing by the pool? I don't want to haul with me.

WeNeverGrowOld - I don't think there is a library on board. I never saw one, but I bring my own books because the sometimes the libraries on the cruise ships have nothing good and I must have my books. Has ANYONE else come across the library?

We'll be arriving at the terminal at 10:00 and hanging out until we board and we'll be looking around for Green Mickey Heads. I'll send DS6 Matt on a scavenger hunt to see how many he can find. Looking forward to meeting some in the terminal and everyone else at the DIS Meet.

Disney R US - on our own, to do the Aquarium at Key West. We booked through Disney one of the Grand Cayman Island tour with Rays. Booked on our own a dolphin swim (DD12, DD8, Me) and a Dolphin Encounter (DH & DD6).

Well the list is getting smaller but why am I on the computer. The big tree is up and so is the little one in the kitchen. Need to finish the one in the sun porch and decorate the basement. Also got a little shopping done so that will not seem so bad when we return.

Tried to make reservations today for the Dolphin Encounter at Nassau- just for 2 people and one observer. Sounds like their times may all be full we'll know for sure on Monday. Disney excursion is either full or they are not offering. It does not come up on the on-line reservation. We were trying through shoreexcursions.com.

Why am I doing everything except for packing......

Looks like Gardencraft did a post on 11/16- nothing since then saying they are not joining us. I saw that post when looking for info on the Mickey Heads. I don't know about the rest.

Hi Diane,

Look for us too around 10 AM to 11AM. I figured that we could just hang out too. Ryleigh could meet Matt then. I just made my green Mickey's and have been working on my door signs.

I'm just sneaking on my dad's computer since we have been at the lake all weekend, we are going home in the morning I need to work on packing!

I have two or three books that I plan on bringing, will I have time to read?

DisneyFanaticsRUs and our family will be sporting the alien green look by means of hats and sun visors, if the plan works. DFRUS met our other CR family today, so 3 fam's will easily be identified. DS 18 made it home from Milwaukee, took everyone in poker so now he has spending money for Atlantis. REALITY, tomorrow is Sunday and we're getting close. Everyone have a safe week, and don't climb ladders to clean out the gutters like DH did today.
