Did you take Matt and Nicole to dinner with you and then to the club afterwards? Did the kids stay in what they wore to dinner? If I have Ryleigh in something special for dinner I don't want her messing up her outfit if they are doing a craft activity.

Lime green is the "unofficial" color of the DIS. You can attach a lime green Mickey head (alien green paint chips found at Home Depot) to your bag, purse, fanny pack, pin lanyard....etc, and we will recognize each other.

I attached my Mickey Heads to luggage, day bag, DS Matt - by using a one hole punch and a rubber band through the hole. Then you can attach to anything. I also made a bracelet of sorts for myself - green string instead of a rubber band. This year I might just pin them on.

If some of the kids are going to the club the first night we'll send Matt. Otherwise we'll skip it. He's never been thrilled with the first night activities - or maybe its just that everyone is shy. He's definitely going on Monday at 10:30 because we have brunch. I hope some other kids will be there at that time.

I'm not sure if the girls will be staying at the club the first day. I figure we will stop bye and check it out but we have so much to learn about getting around the ship that the kids may stay with us? I had also read from other posts that the first day was sort of slow at the club? I don't want them to get discouraged with it right away. (Especially DD 12 who feels she is too old for the "kids" club)

hey everyone... For this trip we did everything trough Triple A. We had a meeting last night and got all our information. last night they said that we were still going to Cozumel.... I know it says on the website the we are going to Nassau...Has anybody heard anything about it...

Holy Moly Mickey Mouse! I'm down to the wire! I have nothing packed![/B] I'm not ready for Thanksgiving. I'm still not unpacked from my camping trip this passed weekend! I've got about 500 things to do before our plane takes off on Friday morning. So you may be asking "why are you on Disboards if you have so much to do?". Denial. It's not just a river in Egypt.

I'm glad I've got a vacation BEFORE my vacation!

Did someone mention a hurricane a brewin'? Say it ain't so!

I may toss Kass (9) into the 10-12 group. He says those activities sound better. I bet Paris will stay with her age group (8). Did someone say their DD just turned 8 in September? Too bad we don't have time to be pen pals.

BTW....I made the beach on Cayman Island a few miles bigger than it really is. It's called Seven Mile Beach. I can't remember the park name. Darn! I'll keep checking. I do know that it's passed all of the big hotels. I'm sure if you ask your taxi driver, he/she will know. It's public, has covered picnic tables and restroom and from what I remember, that's where locals go.

If your TA expects you to be in Cozumel it's going to be one long swim We're still on for the revised itinerary with Nassau.

Yahooooo!! I just found my old comp tickets for the park and I just read the back. We get full access to all the parks! Tell me that isn't awesome?!!! Now that I've stressed over which park to visit, I now get EVERYTHING! Someone pinch me!


So what movies do you think they will have on board? I really hope it's the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Harry Potter would be nice too, but that's not Disney. Rattlesnakes! I haven't had time to go see it!

Has anyone been to Disney Quest in Downtown Disney? Is it worth the money for a 8 and 9 year old??

That's awesome about the tickets! I'd be doing the happy dance too We haven't been to Disney Quest either but were thinking of checking it out this year. We have a Dave and Busters near us (kind of like DQ) and we went for the first time this summer. The kids loved it and Greg and I had a fun too. I'd also be interested in any thoughts about DQ.

We haven't seen Harry Potter yet either. Maybe we'll go one night at DTD. We saw the first Harry Potter there and it was a nice theather. We also saw a movie at the theater in Celebration and that was cool too. I would think that the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will play while we're on the ship. At least I hope so

Ok, who is stressing?

I have DD packed but I just can't seem to make any headway on my stuff. I'm leaving DH to do his own packing . . .

Things are starting to fall into place, but with going away for three days for Thanksgiving I keep thinking I should be home making sure I have done everything. Plus can I stay away from our board for that long, I may have to jump on dear old dad's computer just to keep up with everyone.

If other kids are going to be in the Club, I was thinking of sending Nicole and Matt for a little while before dinner or after dinner Saturday while we unpack. If they don't go the Club Saturday evening, we'll go to the family show. I know they'll be in the club while we're at brunch on Sunday morning before we get off the ship for Key West.
