Your plan sounds awesome, Jade!
I hope it all comes together for you and your family. Maybe some of us Dis folks will be there, too and see you guys.;)

Lots of pixie dust your way.....party:

Glad to see you back Jade! Your trip sounds like so much fun. I've heard many wonderful things about DL at Christmas time. I would love to see it someday. We've done Christmas at WDW and it is just wonderful! I hope your plans come together and everyone stays healthy on this trip! Happy planning! :goodvibes

DH just ordered a new planing dvd. he's starting to think this will be alot of fun too

Sounds like you've got a good trip planned. I booked my own christmas trip last night (also staying at HoJo's although I went for a standard room as when I was there last year, I was hardly in my room so it didn't seem worth the extra for a Disney or Pool view for me), which is about a week after you (I get into LAX on the 12th and leave on the 19th).

I wish we could get our hands on the planning DVD over here, but we're limited to WDW ones :sad2:

Sounds like a fun plan! We did the picnic at SW and it was fun. They give you a lot of food and the price was about the same as it would have been for a CS meal plus we got reserved seats for the show so I thought it was a good deal.

ok my only problem with sw is i always get burned after getting soaked by the water. were the reserved settings to close or in the sun? Did you have to eat on your lap or was there small type of table?

I really do want to go i think my son would like it (last Christmas he got all these tubes of animals he likes pretending there fighting his bad guys, some were sea world animals an he liked them an on tv he sees them an i just think hed like it. is it worth a day away from Disney an dollars lol (my dh says pulse extra stuff.)

The reserved seats were not in the splash zone. They were about halfway up in the upper area with the walkway going between where the reserved seats are and the lower splash zone seats. Not sure if that made sense. They were also just left of center. I think all the seats were in the sun. I don't remember any type of cover or awning. There are no tables, you just sit with the plate/tray thing on your lap. The food was pretty good. It wasn't the best meal I've ever had but it wasn't bad and they give you a fair amount. I don't think i even finished it all. The food was better than the the food we got at the CS restaurant for dinner that night.

Yes, my DS also likes the animals that come in the tubes. In fact, I just got another tube (baby zoo animals this time) to put in his Easter eggs.

ahh cool i get them from amazon.
so what was the souvenir for your sons kids meal? was it like a bucket?

an his easter this year will be a spongebob game he really wants for v tech. an army men he asked for (dont know why lol)

He may also get some change in easter eggs in stead of candy so he can start saving up hes got 8 months lol
