Dec Discount E Mail--Hmmm?

I need a little clarification from someone!

I just got an e mail that says if I travel in December, I can stay at a Value Resort for $64/night. This is awesome! It gives a pin code and everything.

Here are my questions. I am not going back until next December.

Do they do this every fall?

If I book my room in May, and then I get this e mail code in October, will they let me change the rate?

Or, if I book the room in May, do they not send me the e mail because they know I already booked my room?

I've received the same email today too...the emails are random; so they may 'pop' up anytime, not just during the Fall....sometimes they allow you to change, but if you've booked a package, usually not...

Anyone else care to comment....I know there have been lucky people who have been able to change and get the email codes applied and some have not....
