dec and pop warner

my wife was able to change the dates for our all star resort stay from dec 4-9 (pop warner week) to nov 29-dec 4. warner starts dec 3rd. will this be a safer bet or do they arrive days earlier

I would think they wouldn't want to miss school by arriving earlier than Saturday. Plus more room nights they would have to pay for.
