No I don't think you can walk. Take a bus to AK then to AKL or take the bus to DTD then to AKL. You can take a bus to any park then switch to the resort bus :)

I might take a taxi to this breakfast, taking a bus to AK then trying to get one to AKL could be very iffy. Primary goal for WDW am transportation is TO a park. Last time I did emh a MK I was done by 9:30am and wanted to head back to OKW and 3 OKW busses dropped off at MK, but did not pick up for return trip to OKW..I was told they re-route as needed in the morning to get crowds to the parks. Not sure if its the same elsewhere. AKL is pretty far off the beaten path, we love Boma, but always drive there.

No, there is no walking from the AK part to the Lodge. Keep in mind, in the AM buses for pick up are kind of sketchy. I tried once to take a bus to a park and then to a resort and the bus never picked up. When dropping off in the AM, it may not be where they pick up from.

It also takes a significant amount of time when taking the bus to the Lodge. Last time I was there they only had 1 bus for both the Jambo House (where Boma is) and the DVC resort (where Sanna is).

Personally, I would just take a cab and avoid all the hassle and stress.

Sound good!!! Thanks a ton! think we will do that!

Ok so now my question about a little one in a cab? We have a 2 1/2 year old (she will be at the time of travel. If we let the cab company knwo will they bring a car seat? or will we need to use ours? Or what is the best way to go about this?

Thanks a Ton!!

and what is the best cab company to call/use?

Thanks:goodvibes:goodvibes

Dh and I like to eat Narcosses and a few other nice resturants at other resorts. We usually allow enough time to take a bus to a park and grab another bus or a boat or monorail to reach the resort. We use the early time to look around the resort. :)

We are really looking forward to trying Narcosses on this trip!!! :goodvibes: What is your fav thing to gewt there for dinner?

Dh loves the whole lobster and I love the NY strip. I am hoping the lobster is still on the DxDDP when we get there in Dec or dh will be very disappointed.

Anyone know about the car seat?

I think FL is one of the few states that does not have child car seat regulations. I KNOW that they do not require booster seats for a 7 year-old as does MI. I learned that when planning on our trip to WDW with our granddaughters. You can check FL's current regulations on the Internet. If I had my child's own car seat down there with me, I would use it in the cab.

Hi Everyone!!

Thanks for all of the great tips on getting to Boma!!! We decided it would just be easier to move the ADR up to the beginning of our trip when we have a car. So last night that's what we did! Now going to Boma on our 2nd morning!

Thanks again
