We (DW 33, DD 13, DD 6, DS 5 & I 31) left Houston at 4:15 pm and drove straight through to WDW. We stopped in Beaumont and ate dinner and folded the seats down in our minivan. We have a 04 Honda Odyssey and we took out the middle seats and left them behind. The third row collapses into the floor. After dinner we laid out 4" think mattress foam covered with blankets and pillows and put POC in the DVD player. All three made it through the movie and then were fast asleep. We arrived at the Blue Tree resort Saturday morning at 9:00 local time, some 15 1/2 hours after we left. Check in was not until 4:00 and we were tired. We went to front desk and asked how early they could check us in, and to our suprise, they had room ready. We had 2 bedroom unit with full kitchen. We unloaded and went to Downtown Disney and then to Winn Dixie for groceries. This is the first time, and last, we went to DTD before our days at the parks. My little ones couldn't grasp the concept of "Just look."
Any way we got to bed early and got an early start on Sunday.
We met our best friends (Family of 6) from Dallas at 8:40 at MGM. We parked in first row and walked right in. We turned right and headed straight for RnR and TT. Road both several times and then headed to the see the rest of Park. We did just about all there is to do at MGM (skipped SoundsDangerous and not all of us sat through Indy). Signs were up and construction well under way for the Stunt show. Drawings look awesome. We ate at H&V at 4:15 (Fantasmic Dinner Package). I will never, I repeat never do that again. Bill was $100m, because my picky 13 year old who next to nothing is now an adult, we didn't even need the pass for priority seating at show, we were on the end of the row and could have walked up at the same time and had same seats. Fantasmic is still the best show in all the world. We left and headed back to condo for a good night's rest.
More tomorrow.
