FIL seems to be recovering pretty well so far. He ended up w/ just a triple instead of a quadruple but I hear the recovery is pretty much the same. He's 82 yrs. old so we are really glad to hear him flirting w/ the pretty nurses. He just needs to continue his good progress. Thank you to all who sent well wishes and prayers our way. They seem to be working.

LOVE IT!!!!

Kinda on the same topic, how many people plan on decorating their door with magnets and such? I had planned on making some magnets and signs but I think I'm running out of time. I'll have to try to make time to get to it.

I am taking just a few magnets for our door. I am hoping to surprise the kids with them

OK. I'm trying this one more time. Several posters mentioned they would like to sit with others in this group. I'm new and I know I would like to get to know others from this forum on this cruise. I had a bit of a scare a couple weeks back and people I've never met before were warm and supportive. From reading some of this thread it looks as though many friendships have been foraged here. So If you want to be at the same table or at least in the same general seating area, please contact me.

I can only do early seating because that's my seating.

Spoke too soon - UPS just dropped them off!

I do have a question about them though. On the 6th page (titled Cruise Information), there is list of charges. Here is what mine says:

Fare: Contract rate (I guess because we booked DVC)
Insurance: 0.00
Fuel Supplement: 0.00
Gvt Taxes & Fees: 185.32
Airport Taxes & Fees: 0.00
Total Charges: Contract rate​

I'm not responsible for the Gvt Taxes & Fees am I? I thought that was included in the DVC Points. Of course, it does say that total charges contract rate so that is reassuring that Gvt Taxes & fees are included in points. I just wonder why they would list the dollar amount if they are included.

What do you do for transportation?

In the past, I've done only 4 day cruises and I've left the rental car in the parking lot. This will be the first time that we are turning in the rental car at the port and then picking it up again to go back to WDW.
Avis not opening until 7:30 am is a bit late for my taste but I'll deal with it.

Great that you have your documents too. My brother texted me that he received my mom's documents today as well! (She's away visiting her sister). We're all set to go!
