Dec. 4th MVMCP DIS Meet - HELP !!!!!

OK everybody who is attending the DIS Meet at MVMCP on the night of Dec. 4th, I need your help.

I had originally planned on having everybody meet in front of "Ye Christmas Shoppe" in Liberty Square for the the first parade. Then watching the fireworks from "Dan Murphy's Spot" which is also in Liberty Square.

However, now I'm not so sure that's a good idea. The reason is that "Wishes" is best watched from Main St. So now I'm thinking maybe we should meet at the "Hub" in front of the Castle. The only thing I'm worried about is how crowded it will be. Liberty Square traditionally is much less crowded during parade time than Main St. We will have little ones in the group, so meeting for the 2nd parade is probably not a good idea.

So dear DIS'er friends here's how you can help. Please post here your thoughts and ideas on where the meet should be held and the majority will rule.

Remember that there will be a group of 25 of us that will be having dinner at CP, so we will already be in the park at the start of the party.

BTW........So far we have 46 people who have signed up to attend the meet

Not my spot, Linda, LOL. I never want to be responsible for someone not having a 'perfect spot', LOL. Wow, 46!!!! Great!!!

I agree, from everything I have read, the LTT area does not seem to be 'prime' for Wishes. And I am flexible (well, maybe not my old joints here) as to where we go, any place is fine with me, so long as I am at Disney and with you guys.

We will be attending MVMCP on the 4th also.

I had assumed that we would see the Holiday Fireworks show and not Wishes.

So we were planning on going back to MK on Saturday (when there is no MVMCP) to see Wishes.

So my question is, do we know we'll see Wishes at MVMCP?

We are also Mousefest'ing' it, but have not yet determined what meets we'll be attending. It's our first Cruise.

So it looks like it will be Wishes that's shown on MVMCP nights.

I called WDW last night to ask some questions and and the one was exactly about the fireworks in MVCP, the CM aswer was:

".... probably the fireworks are the same for MVMCP (Wishes)"

I asked because i read that in MNSSHP was a "special" fireworks, not wishes !

yippe, yippee, yippee! I have been asked to be tour guide for a couple of people that week. Getting a reputation for myself I guess since the "'Your BEST WDW theme park secret!" thread. I could meet a lot of non-pintrading DISers this way. Thanks !!! are we doing dinner or rides or ????

Another question.

I heard that Tink still flies for Wishes, and that she looks "better" than old fireworks. (I'm trying not to give anything away here).

In previous MVMCP, someone else did the flying. Do we know who'll fly? Is it Tink or that special someone else?

I'm just kind of thinking out loud here. I'm such a planner-type! Are we trying to think of a place to meet up with the whole group where we can watch the parade and the fireworks from all together? Do we know what time the parade is and what time the fireworks are?

I'm trying to think of a good place. The hub might be kind of crowded (but I bet we'll be the biggest group). I can think of places to meet, but I don't know if we want to meet at the place we are going to watch the festivities from or just meet up and then move to a place to watch from. It all depends on what time everything is.

Possible good locations to meet, but maybe not to watch from: rose garden area, Plaza Pavilion area, the wishing well area, Sleepy Hollow snack place?

I guess it all depends on if the parade and the fireworks happen right in a row or if they are at separate times. Sorry - I haven't figured out the schedule yet.
